Matthew Bourne's Production of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake Part 15 Last

I actually watched this for the first time yesterday, and i have to say i was really moved from this. i don't know what it was that moved me so, but this final scene when the Prince dies of heartache, it was the icing on the cake. The choreography was good and the Prince's expressions was amazing, but what killed it for me was the music, I LOVED IT!!! Im sitting in silent and i can hear the music playing and see them dancing. It makes me feel blissful.

I love Swan Lake with Anthony Dowell and Natalia Makarova (They are the best ever dancers of the roles) but this verion of Swan Lake is entertaining to say the least, its unusual and its really cool to see all male swans and males can be just as graceful and still remain mascualine. (and Adam cooper is hot ;-))

Today’s performance with improved Choreography and overall production for City Center stage was so much better than presented in attached video. Swans’ look and performance quality still need an improvement. Both principal dancers were very good-looking and danced exceptionally well. However, the music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was the winner.

Thanks for giving me a chance to watch this, but I won't be watching it twice. The dancing just doesn't display the excellence demonstrated by Gillian Murphy. (particularly in "18-Swan Lake")
