I'm planning on buying a new board the end of this year. I'm trying to decide between the stairmaster, stairmaster extreme, or the midlife. Any thoughts? I ride mostly park. Rails, boxes, about 30ish or so foot kickers cuz thats all we have here lol.
i have the stairmaster 153 do you think its good for rails even though its camber because ive been using it on both jumps and rails flex is pretty good but can i still do spins on a rail with a camber board? or only jumps
@njskate1223 People did everything on camber until recently. So yes, anything you can ride with reverse camber you can ride with camber and the other way around. Camber has a bit more pop and is more stable at high speed though.
i personally think i may never buy a capita board again lol i got a 2007 stairmaster the lamination completley fell off it was put on so shity i realy i hope i can get atleast a discount on a fix or something if not i will friggen hate capita
@perelta is the 2007 used? Anything like that Capita would warranty but a board that old is more than likely used and after time and enough beatdowns is going to have some issues. Unfortunately its more than likely they will not warranty a board that old.
can it take 50 ft jumps? that's the biggest they have at my park, and I wanna know if it can handle it, I don't want to change boards just for 1 jump. I'm 150 and 5' 11" and I want a high 140 (like a 147 or 149) for jibbing. And are the edges lifted? It looks so
@Wiscompton608 at your specs and looking into a board that short you are going to have a harder time on any larger jumps unless you put the landing gear down centered and smooth every time.
@Wiscompton608 the Ultra fear is going to be stiffer which will offer you more support on larger features and would be a better option for you if you are concerned about the Horrorscope being too soft.

hate to post another question about sizing. but i'm 5'8", 150 lbs, and my feet are size 10. i'm looking into buying a horrorscope mostly for jibbing, small/medium (up to maybe 40' or so) jumps, and just goofing around on. What size do you think would be good?
@fello1234 you could ride the 49 or 51 since toe or heel drag is not as much of an issue for more rails specific boards. If you are really concerned with the waist width then I would point you towards the 51 to be on the safer side.
@noahschwadron check out the Stairmaster Extreme for a high end camber park board or the Indoor Survival for a little softer flexing park board thats not as soft as the Horrorscope.
@GirlsCanSkate15 I might steer you towards a 146 Saturnia, Capita's Stairmaster for women. You could go shorter but then you start to loose the ability to cruise outside the park since a shorter board can be a little less stable at higher speeds.
@WildAceXXXGBell yes, but it depends on the size jumps you want to hit. Its on the softer size so larger jumps the board won't have as much response to help you if you land too nose or tail heavy.
@651trewhatley you need to give me a little bit more to go on to answer your question. What terrain do you like to ride and what is your ability level?
First COMMENT WOOT anyways questions for you guys. i weigh 126 pounds, 5'9 and have a shoe size of 11. im stuck between the indoor surlvival FK and the Horrorscope FK, what board would be better and what size. i ride downrails, medium jumps and sesh the boxs and c boxs, which board would be better for my style and what size?
if your just riding medium size jumps and you ride mostly down rails and boxes i would go with the horrorscope. i wouldn't take it off a jump over 45ft though the it is a little softer then the 2010 board so its great for presses and if your 5'9'' i would go with a 152!
@Jibmaster123 or, base it off your flex preference. do you prefer a REALLY soft board for that type of riding (horror), or do you want one thats still easy to press and super fun, but has a little more solid flex (indoor)?

@PortersLars do you think the ultra fear would be better suited for that?
