Actually, Stan Lee created the original X-Men which Nightcrawler (Kurt) was not in. He was created later in the newer series by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cokrum.

It's not really surprising about how many scans you found of them together. I've been reading the comics since I was little and after Nightcrawler showed up he and Wolverine were literally inseperable. Kurt was one of the few Logan trusted above all others and Kurt could always tame his beast. A feat even Xavier marveled at a few times! I'm so surprised at the lack of slash between the two. These two have always belonged and always have been together. Great work!

No problem at all! 1:51 is from the Nightcrawler miniseries #8 "the winding way 3" page 7. The artist is Darick Robertson, he's great isn't he?! Christine was in there originally, but I photoshopped her out. If you don't have the comic I can send you what scans from it I still have saved, mainly any with Kurt and Logan in them! :D Hope that helps!
