this is not true.. that great influences dyin...

  • one of the all time greats. Pure class.

  • How the heck does Hubert always get his freakin tone even on an acoustic... One of the best guitarist and one of my favorites. He will be missed

  • RIP Mr Sumlin. You are inspirational. God bless you.

  • Wow, look how long his fingers are.

  • he always says wolf becomes a different man when showing his music... so was he. he becomes fu___n' high when playing the blues!

  • Great Loss to the Blues; my condolences to his Family, Friends and Fans

  • He was in an episode of "Metal Evolution", which was filmed about a month before he died. I'm glad I got to hear what he thought of Howlin Wolf in that episode and how he contributed to my favorite music. RIP Hubert

  • YOU BASTARDS WHY'D YOU CUT IT SHORT :'(

  • Thanks Hubert, Thanks.

    RIP

  • not a pick to be seen! the only thing wrong with this vid is it was too short

  • Nice music store !!!

  • If you love rock n' roll, then you love the blues, 'cuz rock n' roll CAME from the blues. And if you love the blues, then by its very nature you love Hubert Sumlin, because Hubert IS the blues. His music will live on forever, and therefore we have him forever in our hearts. RIP Hubert.

  • I met Mr. Sumlin once about 5 years ago. He was just the nicest most humble man in the world. He'd share a story or laugh with anyone any time anywhere. I wish he could stay a little longer.

  • ''Like Spann was to Muddy Water's, That's what I was to Howling Wolf.'' That was were he was, like brother's in music just like Spann was to Muddy. In the blues, there's what going on, they were all brother's of the seven's sea. That's all they we're all about.

  • ''Like Spann was to Muddy Water's, That's what I was to Howling Wolf.'' That was he was a haft brother. Just like Spann was to Muddy. But in the blues, there's no haft thing going on, where all brother's of the seven's sea. That's all we're all about.

  • Esteja em paz mestre dos mestres

  • Mestre do som...guitar beautiful

  • I've been pretty much into music (myself) for many year's going all the way back to the early 60's. There are many incredible studio musician's. I am TOTALLY EMBARRASSAD by the fact that I knew so LITTLE about this man. He is a NATIONAL TREASURE.

  • R.I.P.

  • Hubert was my mr. miyagi and I never met the cat. I miss you already buddy.

  • The only time I ever saw Hubert play a 355 was at Otis Rush's house.

  • Can't tell you how my heart aches. My time with Hubert was the best time of my life. What Hubert tought me, and others, they don't teach in books. I love you Hubert, and you will always inspire me to do my best and treat others with respect. R.I.P. my friend, God Bless and thank you!! Play on Hubie!

  • pure joy and happiness while playing. RIP

  • great info whileH.'ubert reminisces.. another great man that many in the USA just take for granted.. Others jump for joy when they got to see Hubert and the many Legends that stayed only as long as they could. Love and peace to all Blues Friends of Hubert, he was a great down to earth genius on a guitar.. Clapton knew it well, and got him to come to Crossroads.. his song from '10 is here, from that last big fest around the 'big shy.' Never to be forgotten. Shared time with little people..

  • Hubert, thank you for giving. RIP brother.

  • God Bless you Hubert. Thanks for all the great licks. RIP.

  • RIP, MR SUMLIN

  • RIP Hubert

  • Rip Hubert!

  • R.I.P Mr Sumlin :(

  • RIP Hub!

  • Thats how the blues is suppose to be played....SWEET!!!! :) made me feel to pick up my guitar. VERY inspirational :-)))

  • Very inspiring man. You can tell he's a teacher because, with all the mad love he has for his instrument and his art, he's very generous with his wisdom and knowledge. He has such an easy, joyful nature about him, you can tell he can channel a great deal of his pain into his music. If only that could be taught.

  • Y ISNT THIS MAN IN THE ROCK 'N' ROLL HALL OF FAME? to me he should have been the very first one inducted! keep on rocking hubert!

  • can only understand when he plays guitar does the dvd have subtitles ?

  • Without Hubert, The Wolf would almost certainly have not got the recognition he deserved because he demanded the very best. Without The Wolf, Hubert would almost certainly have made it as a blues legend anyway.

Great upload; this DVD is on it's way to my house as I type.

  • @bluesatsunset I disagree. Wolf was one of the best bandleaders of the blues bands, in fact, he was the best and even offered his musicians health insurance which was unheard of at the time. There's a reason why the likes of Hubert ended up playing with him, it's because he was THE BEST!

  • @StreetLegal75

What about dental insurance? Poor Hubert.

    He is great!!!
