  • Question.... does the use of this nut locking system imply that have to have a Strat with truss rod adjustment at the heel of the neck? I did not see a truss rod at the headstock on this guitar. Seem to me that I would not bother with that kind of Strat anyway.

  • does tuning the e down to d put the rest of the strings outta whack (see, ya gots to ask the right question)? considering using this without the nutlock, with either a hipshot xtender, or, if it does keep the other strings in tune, not at all...

  • Yeah don't believe the hype when it comes this for a start the plastic that's right plasti screw on the bak that makes the teem stay stif in place was stuk stiff on mine and wore down plus you can't youse anything less than 11 gage strings as the g string will not lock on anything less than 11s then the tremolo arm snapped off and I found out that it was made by a cast sort of metal the only thing I like is the sound of the bridge itself

  • Love the musak and the super V I played a guitar with one installed but I need a Left-handed version. Make a lefty super V AND bladerunner.

  • The nut it's ugly as hell

  • @TheShorty0ne hell but it saves alot of time comapred to a floyd locking nut.

  • the Question is can you put a d-tuna on it

  • @TrevorRules98 i had the same question

  • @guitarfreakRSS im guessing you can put a D-Tuna on it but maybe im wrong.......

  • well eric johnson has one on one of his strats. and as with most things, if its good enough for him, its good enough for me.

  • The bridge is perfect .. the nut ... seriously fuckugly.

Can't they sell it with just the bridge and 1 actual nut piece, leave the locking part out?

Then you can add locking tuners and your strat looks classic.. but will tune just as solid..

  • would this work on a axl badwater sro.

  • It's cool, but it doesn't look like you can flagpole, or super squeal, whatever you want to call it. Which is the main purpose I want a FR. And no offense, but it's kinda ugly.

  • nice

  • can you pull back on this? ... like you would with a floyd rose to raise the pitch for the squalers?

  • @eerahman looks like you can if you make it float. Doubt it would work mounted in a floyd rose mount though.

  • The only downside when compared to a Floyd Rose seems to be the bar tension placement. On the Rose, it's right there on top, at the bottom of the bar, so you can adjust it whenever you like. With the Super Vee, you have to open up the back. Although it might not be out of the question to just leave the back open. I have a friend who does that, claims it gives the guitar more resonance.

  • IDK guys i mean it looks pretty ugly to me. I still like the classic look of the tremolo and the nut. This nut is ugly

  • Does anyone know how much this tremelo system is?........ITS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!

  • @SweetGuitarPlayer It's about $230

  • very interesting

  • its very elegant it will be right fit in my red strat . how much is this ? is this available in asia?

  • how much is this?

  • I have a Fender Showmaster QMT HH. That has a floating bridge. Can this work with a floating bridge?

  • How mutch and is it possible to get the nut without the bridge ?

  • my god...this is one FRankstein.......

  • I replaced the nut on my strat w/ an LSR Roller nut that needed a little wider slot to fit it in. Will the super-vee nut fit in? This a cool trem upgrade.

  • would you have to install it differently if it was floating, other than the installation shown on the video?

  • No, it's like setting up any other type of trem. You don't put in a Trem block and you leave enough spring space for it to float.

  • I didn't mean to 1* it.

  • Thi is great! Is it avaiable for lefties?

  • i'm going to be getting a Highway one strat with the truss rod adjustment at the headstock...does anybody know if this trem system will still work with the type of strat i'm getting?

  • if its a bullet truss rod it won't fit its all

    on their web site

  • if it doesn't have the bullet truss rod adjustment, it will fit. you can adjust the truss rod with the nut on, it has a slot for the allen key to fit in.

  • you'll have to check the website but i think they have a special nut for mexican strats with a truss rod

  • Does anyone know if this will fit on a Charvel 2005 San Dimas model, because I am afraid that the pointed headstock will cause issues with the locking nut.......

  • For some reason, this music makes me wanna have a fro and those shoes with the gold fish in the bottom, and walk down the city streets. And have girls looking at me with their hands over their mouths as in, "Woww!!"

  • You can't raise the pitch right?

  • Ahhh, ok, makes sense.

  • No, its not enough said, tell me more.

  • It doesn't look like the nut will fit over my 70's strat bullet truss rod nut. Does anyone know any better? I want to put this on my pride and joy guitar to make it the excaliber of guitars but it might not work. Will someone who knows what they're talking about help a guy out?

  • I've had all the Floyds that are out there (Original, Floyd Pro) and I currently have a Speedloader BC Rich.

    I've had a Kahler X-Trem too...

They're all great, but I had to route my guitar for the tremolo and the locking nut, change the neck angle, and it doesn't always work out.

In my humble opinion, this is the best upgrade if you don't want to mess up your strat and still get all the cool effects and stability of the Floyd.

I'm definatelly putting this on my Dave Murray Strat project!!!

  • Yeah but there's no holes to drill or anything like you would have to in a floyd rose, also it's easier to install the strings. and tune it.

  • as long as it's a strat

  • Yeah it does, you can have it floating and flat, so I think it kicks the floyd rose ass.

  • Does this mean maybe that fender will be coming out with models with this tremelo stock in the future?

  • doubt it.

  • yeah, I wish they would though... it's a good system as far as I can tell.

  • sweet i want 1 but how much do they cost would help my guitar a lot

  • You can find them from their web site or off EBAY for between 200 and 250.

  • looks sweet

  • looks sweet. lol the porno music was a nice touch 2

  • haha i know right...i cought myself groovin to it mid video

  • is ther a trem like this i can get for a v-shaped string-thru bridge tailpiece?

  • you would probably have to fill the holes and screw new ones like a 6-screw bridge, cause it wouldn't fit in a v-shaped string-thru body

  • they're ment only for fender stratocasters.

  • you could still mod it probably to fit w/e, as long as you have a 6-screw bridge

  • i have to get one for my strat!!!

  • where can i get it?

  • SWEET I WANT ONE

  • i love it but im from sweden

  • i WANT ONE

  • ME TOO

  • its about the same. I have # 69 on my guitar. Made here in colorado springs and i know the manufacturers. They did my setup. Awesome system
