@halflife2wtflol Don't be daft. Broadsides like this rarely happen. You have more chance of dying from obesity-related illness (or getting injured while gardening or playing rugby) than from cycling. Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Uhm, you didn't have to just keep riding into the car you nut?... -_- You easily could have turned away, I saw that coming even on the 90 degree camera angle...
@cycopathifist I had something similar happen to me on a motorcycle with a taxi driver involved. Turning into my street , one of those middle of the road juntions, stopped in the middle , right in front of him , pulled out of the lane right into me.I was at a full stop and there was about 2 seconds between me stopping and him starting. He paid for all the damages without claiming his insurance. I will NEVER trust a taxi driver EVER again.
Well at least he stopped and apologized, at the end of the day we are all human we all make misjudgments and mistakes, what is a growing problem round my area is people who don't even stop.
@syncmaster710n14 True he did and I agree with what you say. More worrying is the dangerously close passes or aggressive type of harassment cyclists receive. Sooner or later this type of driving leads to injury or death. Its time for legislation and education which will change perceptions and attitudes, just like we had for drink driving.
How the hell did the driver not see you, you were right! in front of his car. It's videos like this that made me start using my mountain bike lights on my commuter bike during the day. I've had people complain about the intense flashing, but with respect, screw that! I'd rather annoy a few good drivers if it prevents me from being sent down the road on my arse by a bad one. Glad you were ok matey.
They think they're better than everyone. They drive around, 50+ males, tarty old wives with blonde, short spikey hair. They play golf at the weekends. And piss everyone off with their shitty driving during the week.
@DipDop99 Is that you speaking? Sounds like a Jeremy Clarkson quote along the lines of "Never invite someone who drives a people carrier round for dinner. They'll end up boring you with tales of hillwalking and recycling and you'll end up staring at his wife's breasts and wishing their children sniffed glue"
@DipDop99 oi cunt whats wrong with fucking jag drivers? i drive an e-type + xk8 i dont do shit like this its just the people who drive them, what do you drive a beetle?
@DipDop99 e-type? not a golfing car :L cx-16, not a golfing car? New xj, Family car? XKR-S, sporty nice thingy? you just copy shit that jeremy clarkson says which is utter bullshit
All Jags are golfing cars. And why would I be quoting Clarkson now? I clearly said to the uploader that my observation is that Jag drivers enjoy Golf. I used to live next to a golf course, the most exotic cars there were a Porsche 911 and a Aston Martin DBS.
You expect me to believe that you are 28, you drive a Jag, you have a load of Black Ops uploads, and your first comment to me looked as though it was constructed by a foul mouthed 5 year old? Do you think I'm stupid or something?
Why would I want you to send me a picture of yourself? That's a bit creepy Alex... Why don't you just tell me your surname and I can look you up on FB...
Yes, I have been very lucky. I joined the Army aged 16 because I didn't do too well in school, I only got 6 GCSE's at C grades. I bought my first house aged 19, and rented it out whilst I was away. When I came back, I stayed with my mum to avoid kicking out my tenant. After a while of not paying gas, electricity etc. and having my holidays paid for by the Army, I saved up enough to buy my 2nd house which I also rented out. And this is what I'm doing now.
@stuinNorway No. The driver behind him offered to act as a witness. He was also a frequent cyclist. The guy who hit me offered to run me home and paid for the damage to my bike. If he hadn't I could have got him on a careless driving charge.
Man, I just cant comprehend how you or other fellow cyclists who get run over don't go totally mental on these potential killers. I would really want to smack this guy had I been in your place. Hopefully I never will.
That baseball cap looks very like a Sperry Sun Drilling Services one. Since they've been part of the Halliburton empire for a number of years now ... you'd be likely to find his car (Jag? I'm not too good on cars, despite driving one of the damned things.) on Howe Moss Drive (or Place) up at the airport industrial estate.

EVERYONE LISTEN UP!
Descent Music Listeners, you rock.
On 24th DECEMBER we will all be visiting Justin Biebers "Baby" video
which has over 160 million views.
On that day everyone must flag, leave a negative comment and dislike the video.
Help us destroy this modern autotune music that has ruled the world. The goal is to make the dislike bar bigger than the like bar.
Copy and paste this to good vids:ANYTHING GOOD! Thumbs up this plan. THUMB IT UP!
