  • I think that many will vote for who ever is in the same demographic as they are, regardless of how unscrupulous they may be, because they are immoral. A large percentage of the world is made up of of McGregor Theory X types.

  • this time last year, i too was caught up in the "Yes We Can" bullshit... the illuminatti does its job very well, and their job was to bring the people back to politics after the Bush era, and to get their respect back from the public... well who better than a young black candidate who reminds people of a movie star?? SMH..

  • go read up on the illuminati and the new world order, and understand that this is way bigger than the President of the USA.. it doesnt matter who he is and what changes he promises to make, there are policies being dictated to him by a group that is behind the scenes, not just in america, but the entire world.. And if the Pres. goes against this group, he will be eliminated, just like JFK..

  • the nwo and the illumanti and pure conspiracy theories. Sure the president doesn't have the power to impact the entire system, but claiming that the illumanti is something to "read up on" as if it were truth is a fallacy.

  • when i said illuminatti i referred to the international banking families that dictate US policies and world policies for that matter... go read up on the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, the Warburgs. go check out what the Bilderberg group is, the Carlyle Group, the Council on Foreign Relations.. It is the members of these groups that dictate US policies... the Obama Deception is real, and they managed to fool the people once again..

  • ALex Jones much?

  • dude no offense but you're an uninformed douchebag...

i say no offense because i too was once like you... when i was 19 in college and had thoughts that change in this world is possible.. i'm 25 now and realize more or less how this world works, and that there are secret groups running shit behind the scenes..

  • Obama would continue the Bush policy of conquering and occupying the whole Middle East, if for no other reason because he's afraid of being called 'soft' on Islam. He's already backtracked on his antiwar rhetoric. The only candidates who would make a difference, for better or worse, are Barr and Nader. Or Ron Paul, if he got back in the ring.

  • u are a fuckin idiot, dont talk about shit u have no idea about, my grandfather was one of hundreds of native americans from my tribe that was taken to boarding schools and beaten and abused for being native, treaty rights to this day are still not honored, there are stores, parking lots, and other structures built on top of grave yards and sacred sights that my grand-parents remember going to. so do some research before u open that big ignorant mouth of yours.

  • Actually they are all corrupt, Obama is the only one not for genocide!!! And I agree with everything Obama says, although any polititian can't be trusted by what they say, but that's all we have to rely on. You don't know too much about what the U.S. Gov. is about, and Obama has a program to make sure that the people recieving money from the gov, have actually done something, it's called more security on the applications and such, and making them at least do charity work. Obama for Humanity!!

  • Since when was Mike Gravel for genocide? This video is terribly outdated and misinformed, I will fully admit that, but how on earth is Obama the only candidate against genocide?

  • Well, he's the only one that isn't like the U.S. gov is, The U.S. government creates genocide with the wars in the Middle East, on Native American Reservations still today, especially on the Pine Ridge Res, and with the Shoshone Res., and they support countries that create genocide as well, if you look at Obama, he hasn't even supported one thing like that, as a matter of fact, he is the only canidate that wants to free Leonard Peltier.

  • He is not the only anti-war candidate... I don't know how you think he is. Both Clinto and Gravel have said they are against the war.

  • Well, you didn't look on the entire message, I didn't say that Gravel is for war, I said he's like the U.S. gov., and Clinton is actually for the war, you must have heard something from a while back, she's actually for the war now.

  • How is Gravel like the U.S. government? Sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to understand you.

  • That's fine, I'm just glad to have an intelligent discussion with someone that's online. Could you tell me more about why you like Gravel, and could you also tell me, what is different between Obama and Gravel, because there's little if their is any, I can't seem to find any, except, English as the Official Language, Gravel for, Obama against, because how are we able to have variety of language with English is the only language, I prefer that we speak in Native Language eventually, culture.

  • Obama is corrupt. Kucinich is a better speaker anyway, and he has a soul, he has courage, and he's guided by empathy and brilliance. it's impossible for him not to give up on anything or to compromise human rights and sanity.

  • Obama is the least corrupt Cannidate, He is also the only one who isn't for genocide!

  • but i do agree... hilary is crap!

  • She isn't necessarily crap. She would just be the same thing we've had for the past 20 years, only with slight, minor differences.

  • Provita

The regular white person will have to pay reparations. Only, the Corporations that was involved in the slave trade.

  • looool... you accuse obama for being a good talker... well all these ignorant morons are agreeing with you becuase your merely a "good speaker"... and in actual reality ur quite uneducated but then again you are also very young, its quite admirable to see someone who truly believes in their own pseudo-intellectual bullshit!:) quite amusing i must say.

  • Granted I probably disagree with more than half of this video by now, exactly how am I being amusing in this video? I was just being a Gravel lackee, and frankly now I'm all for Kucinich the most, then Gravel, and then Ron Paul. I disagree with Obama on many issues, as well with all of the other candidates. People change their minds. So what's so funny?

  • Great video! Mike Gravel is also for reparations, he would invest it into education. And I agree with that.

  • Good point. I must also say that since the making of this video, I have come to research Kucinich far more and I also support him.

  • Dennis doesn't support the National Initiative. That's my disappointment of him.

  • I agree. However, he is still pretty good, especially when compared to everything else on the table (not including Gravel, of course)

  • Definitely.

  • Nice posting, I feel your fustration. People talk about show me the evidence about the candidates being corrupt, I say people open your friggen eyes. Ever heard of HSU who gave clinton 100s of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions even though he was flat broke? And we have some moron defending lobbyist, they are crimminals buddy and the still bribe candidates who are working senators... get your head right. Mike Gravel 08!

  • I completely agree! Thanks for the comment :]

  • I like Gravels attitude. I wish more democrats were as fiery as him. I liked that one you-tube debate when he shot back at this obviously brainwashed cocky republican who asked a question about the troops in iraq. I think after he asked it Gravel had him curled into a fetal position and crying like a baby.

  • I don't get why we spend so much time attacking the opposition party after what this administration/congress has done. I wish we would start focusing that energy to the people who deserve it.

  • I agree with your assesments on Clinton and Obama and a lot of the democrats but if the choice is between them or any republican then not only will I vote for them but I will do everything I can to get others to vote too. In the ideal world Kusinich would be president but unfortunately in this country which cares more about pop culture than important issues that is probably not a reality.

  • I agree, Kucinich or Gravel would be the best in my eyes.

  • is that 1984 in the background by the cd player? lol

  • Why yes. yes it is. Hidden messages rock! (that was hardly hidden...)

  • Kucinich has more PAC contributions than Obama. Zing!

  • I never backed Kucinich really, in fact the end of my video was a decision between Obama and Gravel...

  • Do you have any examples of these acts of corruption any of the candidates mentioned have committed? Any examples of Edwards lying?

You know, tons of needless swearing says something about the strength of your arguements.

One man filibuster? Are you sure? From 1959-1975, fillibusters required at least 34 people to continue debate on an issue. What Gravel claims to have done is impossible.

  • Do tell how cursing weakens an argument one bit. Please, do tell. It's called venting. You know, human beings have different ways of expression, and some use curse words. Get over it.

  • The way you were using it went wayyy overboard.

If I say that the genocide in Darfur is bullshit that is alright. But if I say that the fucking genocide in darfur is fucking bullshit and the piece of shit janjaweed can suck my fucking cock... I lose cred.

  • Not in my opinion. It would just tell me you're really fired up about the issue and I'd respect it.

  • The Washington-based Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan, nonprofit group, tracks contributions by selected industries.

the "hedge fund & private equity" category, *Chris Dodd $726,950 *Clinton $703,600, *Obama $640,000

  • the "securities and investment" industry

    * Hillary $3.3 million * Obama $3.1 million.

    contributions from "health professionals"

    *Clinton $998,851 *Obama $701,993 *Edwards $254,297

    from "pharmaceuticals/health products"

    *Clinton $172,150 *Obama $160,572 *Edwards $6,758

  • from "lawyers/law firms", the biggest giving group

*Edwards $6.5 million *Clinton $6.2 million *Obama $5.5 million *Gravel $500

  • Ask any democrat who was politically active during that time about Mike Gravel the senator from Alaska who single handedly filibustered the draft. He did it.

  • Cheney giving Haliburton no-bid contracts is corrupt. Bill Richardson recieving money from the NRA because he is a pro-gun Democrat is not.

  • I agree completely.

  • You act as though lobbyists are faceless, heartless bastards. The fact is that there are two types of candidates that recieve lobby money - those that vote a certain way to get paid, and those who were already voting a certain way and are getting finacial backing for doing so. If I am pro-choice, and have been for the last 10 years - and Emily's List gives me money - does that make me corrupt? Or did the pro-choice groups decide that they should bolster candidates who share their ideals?

  • How are we supposed to know it's all clean money with no secret strings attached? Just a note I'm not trying to defend Gravel or anything, I like other points of view :) You bring up very good points!

  • I appologize for the lack of respect I paid in my posts. 99% of Gravel supporters I have encountered are rude when I bring up any critisism of their candidate.

  • I guess you never know for sure, but if you are going to demonize PACS - individual controbutions should be too. If a military contractor gives money to a campaign, opposed to giving money through a PAC is there any difference?

We will have to judge them by their past. Obama doesn't have a long one, but I simply cannot think of any examples of corruption with the other candidates outside of Richardson's giving governmental contracts to those who donated to him (which he later gave back).

  • Good point. But I still think if I saw questionable people or organizations giving a good amount of money to a candidate, I can question whether or not there are secret strings attached to that candidate.

  • Alright... who did you see Clinton or anyone else doing this for? You sounded pretty confident in your video.

  • It's quite known that Clinton, Edwards, Richardson, Dodd, and Biden are receiving funds from a good many of organizations that aren't necessarily agenda-free. And besides, I just don't agree with many of their stances.

  • Start providing examples.

If I say that Milosevic was a "bad guy", but dont provide any reasoning... why should anyone believe me?

  • I'll be quite honest, I don't have the evidence. I believe Gravel ^^. You win this one, sir.

  • Regarding reparations: I had similar feelings about reparations before I studied white privilege and institutional racism. I highly suggest you check out some work by Tim Wise (just Google his name). He's a white guy from the South that speaks a lot of truth on these issues. Remember: just because you are not personally responsible for what happened in the past doesn't mean you haven't enjoyed unearned privilege due to the color of your skin.

  • It is not my fault white people long ago enslaved blacks, it is not my fault people today are racist bigots and total assholes. I probably have enjoyed unearned privilege. And it needs to stop. That is the reparations blacks deserve. Complete equality, and the elimination of bigotry. But money or land is out of the question.

  • No, it's not your fault, but you're complicit in the racism and discrimination that continues to today because you take benefit from it, whether you choose to or not. To do nothing is to corroborate with what's going on.

  • What am I supposed to do? Whenever someone is even remotely racist or sexist I get pissed off at them and try to make them change. What else can I do but try to make people think equally? Money or land isn't an answer. An official apology? I'm fine with that.

  • Civil rights and AA were a start, an apology would be nice, but what really gives you equality in America? You should know that money=freedom in capitalist America, being a Kucinich/Gravel supporter. ;)

  • Also, regarding money or land, YOU have benefited in the form of money and land because of the color of your skin, while people of color have continued to endure inequity that results in them losing out on equal opportunity to money and land. Not to mention the benefit you received from simply descending from a (presumably) non-slave family that benefited from a system of racism that prevented black people of their time from getting equal opportunity in housing, education, voting, etc.

  • That is true, but then how much money do we give, from whose pokcets, to whom, and the same for land, and if land, which land, whose land? Even though you could argue for it, it could simply never be implemented in a fair way. What if I had both slave and slave-owner descent? It's just way too complicated.

  • GRAVEL 08 !!

  • Gravel and Kucinich are the ONLY real candidates!
