Also, check out the video "commonlaw right to travel". it is a friend of mine who travels as a sovereign and was pulled over. Over a year after making and posting that video, no action has been taken by the system. @citizensolidarity Maybe try a acknowledgment, and enter it into the court of record at the clerks office. Make sure to get two seals, and an oath. If you dont like the oath, work around it, and use something else. If they give you trouble, ask them if they have taken an oath and are bonded. They will say yes of course, and then tell them that you accept their oath. In the acknowledgment state you will and intentions in the matter, get two seals on it, and record it.

What I really think shows that freeman ideology is more grounded in wishful thinking than empirical evidence is his story of his brush with the court. It is a huge stretch to think that his experience somehow counts as a "victory" for the freeman movement. Chances are that he just got lucky and managed to slip through the cracks on a technicality. Judges rule against freemen who assert the "real law" all the time, and nothing ever happens to them for it.
Not everyone studies the same material, and not everyone uses the same 'strategies', some people just look for paper work strategies, but it isn't about the paper work. Its about KNOWING.
Spiritual well-being and moral superiority are all well and good, but they do not change the facts on the ground. No branch of government - not the police, not the courts, and not the politicians - view freeman ideology as having any merit in law. Nor is their enough popular support for the movement to force the government's hand. So don't fool yourself into thinking that the government is somehow bound to respect your position as a freeman. Because they are not, and they will not.

The definition of 'de facto' provded in this movie is not correct. De facto does not mean illegitimate. If one is in a de facto relationship with a member of the opposite sex it does not mean it is an illegtitimate relationship, it means it is "independant of any strict legal right or title", as it states in my legal dictionary.
One wonders what other errors are contained herein.

This guy is dreaming. The only reason he is not behind bars is because he is an anomaly who is not worth the time or effort of the courts. If there were 1000 people out there doing what he did, which is essentially what he is suggesting we should do by producing the documentary, you would find that the only "law" in existence is brute force and coercion. That being said, it is a nice dream that will never come true in our lifetimes or those of our greatest of grandchildren. Silly optimist.

@xxTimelessxx I'm definitely familiar with Occupy. Our city has its next protest tomorrow. I was referring to the "consent to be governed" concept proposed in the video. I suspect the only reason it held any water here is cause someone didn't feel like dicking around with him. Governmental laziness and inefficiency can go both ways it seems. But, give it time and they will surely come knocking. i would love to see updates on this guy's success, especially after this video.

Also, check out the video "commonlaw right to travel". it is a friend of mine who travels as a sovereign and was pulled over. Over a year after making and posting that video, no action has been taken by the system. Though, the only way for one to truly know is to know their rights and the process itself, and try it out. : ) Cheers

Next time you get an offence under the Highway Traffic act, for parking, speeding, etc, ask them to send you an actual bill! All those yellow offences are not bills, but charges.. just refuse to pay and apply for an international drivers license. better yet, a diplomatic license.

@citizensolidarity Maybe try a acknowledgment, and enter it into the court of record at the clerks office. Make sure to get two seals, and an oath. If you dont like the oath, work around it, and use something else. If they give you trouble, ask them if they have taken an oath and are bonded. They will say yes of course, and then tell them that you accept their oath. In the acknowledgment state you will and intentions in the matter, get two seals on it, and record it.

The title of this movie is UNGRIP. That is a key concept, it's talking primarily to our dependence on society. What I really think shows that freeman ideology is more grounded in wishful thinking than empirical evidence is his story of his brush with the court. It is a huge stretch to think that his experience somehow counts as a "victory" for the freeman movement. Chances are that he just got lucky and managed to slip through the cracks on a technicality. Judges rule against freemen who assert the "real law" all the time, and nothing ever happens to them for it.

Now put all Acts and Statutes face to face. I wonder long of a book case that would need. Pretty sad really. Never trust a lawyer, they are not there to help you, they want what is in our wallet. Been there, done that and will never do that again. I chose to wave my rights. If i was awake at the time, i would had refused and fired the lawyer on the spot.
