you and me both man, but as you well know. steam in active mainline service has been gone since the 50's

Some were still around in the late 90's. Or they were in Norfolk, Virginia. I was born in 1992 an supposably the hospital I was born at had steam locomotives still running around out back.

The hospital was built near the a main line.

that was probably because they were running fan trips with the 611, 1218, 765 and 1225. thru out that area
