Sony Vegas: Cool transition tutorial

Hi, I wanted to know is there a easy way to chop a video clip in sony vegas 10... I wanted to take two clips and have them switch back and forth fast sort of like a strobe light (on and off).... I can do it the normal way but i wanted to know is there a way to do it where the clips will be even and doesnt take much time... plz respond :)

@talafilms to split a clip, click on it so it's highlighted then simply press 's' for 'split' :)

@EssexMedia Thx i know thats how i split.. but i mean if i have a clip thats l 30 sec long and if i wanted to split it all the way through in 5 sec splits... is there a easy way to split it besides clicking every 5 sec and spliting... like a tool that can measure and auto split the rest of my clip.... I make music videos and etc. and sometimes I have to make the video switch between two clips fast like a rapid snare....

@talafilms oh, not that I know of unfortunately. But, you've got to understand that editing takes a long time and you do have to put the effort into it to get a good result :)

i think it would be better if you did not snapshot the first clip and just left it running while the next clip comes in... not sure tho....

Just a piece of advice... press the S key instead of Cut... it's much easier.
