The supposed clean up efforts is the most ridiculous crap I have ever heard of. Seems like they are determined to make the problem much worse. In addition to the oil they are combining it with dispersants for what purpose? More chemicals just so the oil disperses more thoroughly throughout the water. Then dumping diesel fuel oil into the mix and setting it on fire? There must be a complete bunch of idiots in charge of this. Sensible people would gather the oil and use it.

To make as much oil as they can impossible to collect. That way bp doesn't have to clean it up. I know it's hard to think past the marketing meme pushed by bp and the Obama administration, but isn't that his job.
