Carreras aveva una bella voce, cantava col cuore e amava la propia professione ; ha avuto gravissimi problemi di salute e, nonostante tutto, ha continuato a cantare per amore della lirica : fai benissimo ad apprezzarlo ! Ti auguro, con tutta la stima, la simpatia e l'ammirazione che merita un vero amante della lirica come te, un meraviglioso 2011, pieno di gioia, salute e felicità ! CIAO.

Ci sono stati tanti tenori, come ben sai, che invece si sono venduti e non cantavano con amore!! Lui è uno dei pochi secondo me. Poi è vero, la tecnica era molto scarsa ed è durato quel che è durato.....rispetto molto le sue opinioni e spero di poter parlare con lei ancora!!!!! A presto!!!!! CIAO!!!!!!!

@matt7178 : visto che sei un amante delle grandi voci del passato, c'è un tenore che devi sentire assolutamente. Aveva una voce MERAVIGLIOSA, da autentico lirico-spinto, con una ricchezza di armonici e uno smalto vocale assolutamente unici ; e aveva anche tecnica, cuore, passionalità, stile, gusto, amava la propia arte, insomma un artista completo come pochi ( peccato che la critica lo abbia sempre costantmente trascurato ) : sto parlando dell'intramontabile MIRTO PICCHI. Who cares about great acting? I go to opera for great SINGING. If I want great acting I go to play. This is great singing! Today how about less acting and matinée idols making and more great singing. Mr Carreras has great phrasing and the acting and drama isnin the interpretation of the music. Thats what I am interested in!

WOW!!!!! Carreras really in his absolute prime here- he's just fabulous!!!! His voice is so beautiful and warm it could melt a glacier!
