Trust me Rob breathed some much needed fresh air into a character on life support. The same can be said about Nolan's Batman And JJ's Star Trek, They were both excellent Re-boots but done differently from what was laid out before them. , I watched it a few times and walked away from it feeling indifferent but then I had to be honest about it, Rob did a damn good job, It was disturbing at times and fucked up others, but the one thing it wasn't was boring, looking forward to how H2 finishes.

I like that Zombie went away from making a complete frame by frame remake (Psycho) and created his own genre. For the first 45 minutes I had no idea what the hell was going to happen next and because of that it was very effective.

True the one thing that was amazing about the original was that there was no blood in the entire movie and is probably the greatest slasher film ever. But this is Rob's impression of Micheal, not Carpenter's.

Imagine if Michael myers went to crystal lake to kill people but the guys were dead already. Michael sees a guy aiming for a guys head in the water with an arrow. Thats wat Michael thinks. Jason is actually aiming for him. The arrow shoots through him. Then a while later Jason comes. He stabs Michael but Michael comes behind him and stabs him. The guy that was in the water got killed by Michael in a hurry and got dressed like Michael. So he was a decoy.
