I have a question i have an 06 evo 9 mr and i was just crusing in third gear and all of sudden i hear like a swooshh of air come out of no where. I didnt floor it or let off the gas it just came out of no where. i am curious to no because i dont want to be driving my car if it does have a boost leak. Any help please

I have the same exact noise after 5000 RPMs cannot find the leak.

Turned out to not even be a boost leak. Two screws that held down the intake were missing. The evo is alive again.

it was a boost leak though. the turbo was losing power through not getting efficient air, and thats what a boost leak basically is.
