the microphone is located in the button puck thing. there's a small hole above the belkin logo.
i don't have interference issues. just bought it and used it with my Windows Phone 7 (HTC Trophy) and it works perfectly!
as far as battery drain, the belkin turns off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity, so no drain worries there. also, my auxiliary power outlet turns off with my car.

I got the AirCast working with Siri on the iPhone 4s but she sounds like crap. I did manage to get her sounding crystal clear for a few seconds but it's obviously something that would need to be fixed in the next generation. I made a video of what I'm talking about that can be found on my channel.

Sucks that this is bluetooth. You HAVE to remember turn off when exciting your vehicle. Battery Drain!
