Oh this boss... i was 5 when i started plaing this game and my brother had already beat it before i started so one da i made a new file and played story no matter what side i was on i couldnt win it was boom boo or the rouge prison island stage the one thats timed haha. finaly beat both at 6 and got to this guy... well eventually this song became my favorite since it grew on me... oh i still have nigtmares about those black orbs he pukes

Jeez, this boss. I remember getting this game when I was 6...took me until I was 12 to actually beat him myself..I had my older cousin do if for me before since so I could get the dang story ended. Funny though, Final Hazard isn't nearly as hard as the Biolizard ._.

I would love to see a new adaptation of this in Sonic Generations. I can't even begin to imagine how it could be any more kickass, but Sega managed to do it with other classic tracks so it's not impossible.

Actually, im going to rewrite the comment. I am a hardcore gamer, and I have gone through hundreds of games. So far, this is the only game Ive played (from a nintendo console) that has very emotional music, and is the only game Ive played that really made me feel like what I was doing matters, like I was really fighting for the rest of humanity. This game is a classic.

@UofAWhitney Robotnik tried to make the ultimate life form using a small red lizard. (As seen in sonic x) It was horribly mutated, thus needing life support. Then robotnik met black doom and made a deal and made shadow. G.U.N locked up the biolizard
