Anyone from Ohio knows MH was masked and kicking long before SK. Morphic Fields ppl... no great thing happens in isolation. Gwar, SK, MH, Bungle... a lot of greats had the same idea at the same time. I was wearing deformed clown masks in my performances in the early 90's as well.

Here is the truth about Slipknot vs Mushroomhead, Mushroomhead was offered a record label, they refused them, then the record label made Slipknot to replace Mushroomhead, and they tried to mock everything they did so Mushroomhead would be sompletely forgotten and that they would disban their band. That is what happened.
I'm not sure what the whole argument is about. The two bands in discussion sound almost nothing alike. The only real common thread is the makeup/costumes. I mean, I can hear about 8 bands alone in this song. Both from the past and those that came after Mushroomhead. They are called influences, every band has them. I think that's why I like mushroomhead more, but slipknot has some funny sounding songs. It's just mushroomheads older stuff sounds funnier, add the imagery, makes them listenable.

@TheGunshotVictim Slipknots EP was in 1995, Mushroomheads was in 93', The bands formed shortly after the release of the Ep's. MRH's first album was in 95' slipknots was in 98'. So MRH formed in 93, slipknot in 95. Get your own facts right before you call someone else's out you ignorant asshole.

the songs on it are Let it Show, Help You Think, Condemned, World Leader, Hate in Blue, and No.9. it was made before Anders was even in the band. @TheGunshotVictim that demo that you're speaking of is not from the same slipknot from Iowa but from a different band from Connecticut that happens to also be called slipknot, don't believe me just look it up on the metalarchives or I can just send you proof that its not the same slipknot.
