I've been using opera for almost a decade, and it's always been my favorite.. I've tried every other one time and time again and they just don't compare. I'm not saying they aren't as fast or they don't work as well.. But opera is just a level above the rest when it comes to being a a quality interface. Once you understand it and customize it the way you want there is no going back to other browsers. Opera has a bigger learning curve than the others, but its worth it without a doubt..

Opera all the way, it's super fast, very customizable and offers tons of flexibility. The only problem is that sometimes (not very often, but 0.01% of the time) a page isn't compatible with Opera and I'll need to use Chrome, which sometimes doesn't work either. After that, my last resorts are Firefox and IE.

Opera 11.50 kicks ass and faster than any of the other browsers.I have used them all.My GOD it is so fast that I thought i had my Antivirus disabled but it is on as well as my Zonealarm firewall.I did at one time like ie 6 and older versions of Firefox before FF 3.6.Still have 3.5.8 an older version of FF on my PC but since everyone is being forced to upgrade Opera is now my favorite browser.Awesome that it has so many features built in and super fast.Im only using extensions WOT an AdBlock.

I honestly think it depends on ur system. I am running i7 gtx 285 6gb ram and 64 bit os and IE is so sloowww for me... I mean I cant even watch youtube and open up another tab to download somthing... i dont know why its so buggy for me. Chrome was the best until i found OPERA.

I tried Opera and im no fanboy but tihs is amazing. It is fast i tell ya!, startup is slightly slower than chrome but everything after that is fast. BETTER PERFORMANCE on scrolling and youtube... its SO SMOOTH. Try IT!

Thank you for the informational video, although I didn't always understand your examples or descriptions. This is due to not being familiar with all of the browsers. I think it would have been very helpful, as a viewer, if next time you were to show yourself using each browser as you narrate, for example when you discussed dragging your tabs in the Chrome section. Also it was so boring just listening to you talking I need visual stimulation! Thumbs up for an informative video though.

@MethewXX Chrome more adjustable, modifiable, faster and efficient than Opera? Theres only 1 way of customizing chrome and thats themes. In opera you can change the place of every single button, get more skins and everything is in-built in opera, so no need for plug-ins that slow down the browser and have a lot of bugs. I just tested Opera 11 beta vs Chrome 9.0.576, by opening 13 pages and how long it takes to the browser to render the pages. Opera 11 beta was always 30% faster than Chrome.

Opera had the personal bar, where you put your bookmarks, Opera 11 has a bookmarks bar now, which is worse than the personal bar IMO.

Anyways Opera 11 is released today. Check it out. Speed is great and now has extensions.

WARNING! if you use Chrome and live on Google search bar, u may as well head to their main office and do a striptease for them, because they're collecting everything, and what your IP records can be used against you in court.

Opera is more than "quite decent" and the new 11 version will beat all - this guy is full of shit. Combine Opera with a search engine like Ixquick and you're surfing safely. Also your lending support to European based tech, which helps competition.
