  • it gets to 0:28 seconds and stops?

  • dang how lond do they hit those sand bags man his hand is puffy

  • why is his hand so thick? is it a callous, scar tissue or bone?

  • @hathegkla It is probably a mix but the purpose of the training is to restructure your bones. You cause micro-fractures and those fractures heal to be stronger and the bone increases in mass. It's Wolff's Law.

  • @gman13121 I've read about wolfs law but I wonder how much bone mass you can actually gain. I'd really like to see an xray of that guys hand. whatever he's done its pretty bad ass.

  • Postmodernist Wushu. He doesnt even discuss chi theory. He just builds his hands to look like clubs.

  • Those are are serious bricks. His fist is just one big callous.

  • very good.

  • Brutal Masterbation

  • This guy got the fist of popey the sailor man.

  • @pwolfwithorns The idea is to break the slab on top without smashing the tofu underneath.

  • I like to do iron training on trees, and you can train all strikes. I started on a sappling 1-2 inches around and moved on to trees about 3-4 inches around, as long as they shake a little it's not too damaging. I feel I progress faster hitting trees than the iron palm bags. I've been hitting the gravel palm bag for a couple years and with not much change, but a big jump after striking trees. Though, I stillI like hitting the gravel bag and won't be happy until I turn it into dust.

  • @SysAdmin86851 nice i bet the chi flow from the trees is also a big help! do you practice any other chi kung

  • @yizhichanlohan I have and still do practice iron shirt qi gong and daoist meditations. But I'm not too into qi gong any more, I tried to hold a sitting meditation for several days, but at most did 24 hours. I thought I would have a profound experience, but nothing ... absolute nothingness. But I do have infinite patience now. Now I mostly practice iron hand / body, chin na, and gymnastics. After 5+ years of praying mantis, the movements seem to lose all meaning and I just want to hit stuff !

  • @SysAdmin86851 were you ever taught meditation because it is very hard to learn this from a book. the movements or patterns are there because they are extremely effective. before shaolin people fought in cages using grappling hitting kicking and throwing much like the ufc but with kungfu came a huge evolution in fighting ie the shift from tecnique to patterns. any one movement in any kungfu form can be used for all fighting scenarios so dont throw away your patterns! use forms with chi na ,

  • palm strikes and aerobatic tecniques . if you dont know what i mean about the patterns thing you would probably do well to find a master named wong kiew kit !

  • @yizhichanlohan Yeah, Wong Kiew Kit is awsome! I've read some of his articles, he's very good. Although, I've trained with some pretty high level masters and blackbelts, I don't consider myself very high level, in fact I have no rank in any system, I don't believe in it. I wish I had time to go seek out some of the great masters. I'm not saying I think my training is worthless or that I'm throwing away kungfu for brawling, I'm just not progressing any further, it seems I've plateaued.

  • @SysAdmin86851 send me a message and ill try to help you out. im sure we can figure out how to improve your kungfu

  • Fortunately, iron palm trained hands DO NOT need to look like this and rarely do.

  • lol at his hand, wtf man, too much XD

  • If he has iron palm, Chuck Norris has iron dick.

  • @RiptN3rd shut up your not funny stupid white boy

  • @ImDeathNote I'm asian. LOL.

  • @RiptN3rd oK fine stupid nigger vietnamese all you vietnam dog are dwarf

  • @ImDeathNote You have shitty grammar.

  • @RiptN3rd you have shitty face haha almost every vietnamese are ugly fucking dwarf

  • Imagine him pimpslap a ho.

  • why showoff like this? ¬¬

  • fantastic commitment.

  • OMG what a freaky cartoon hand. I hope being able to break a brick was worth it. How in the hell does he wipe his ass with that big meat claw?

  • He may have a ''iron palm'', but his fighting skill maybe dated or he my not have any fight skill at all. It makes me wonder why his fighting skills were not shown in this interview.

  • this guy is nothing compared Professor James powers Vee Jitsu. Youtube"Professor James Powers Vee Jitsu" He was my instructor. He tears Phone books and bends bolts and tears license plates and doesnt have infected hands like this clown.

  • Earlier in the clip, he gave his friend a pat on the back.... that poor bastard is now in a wheel chair. He can no longer spank his monkey either, very sad stuff!!!

  • those bricks are made in china.

  • Comment removed

  • 'those bricks are made in china.'

If you're not convinced, how about trying his hand on your bones?

  • @Scalier Take a joke :D

  • @RiptN3rd

Oh, you were kidding. I wasn't trying to insult either. Anyways that's one mean hand!

  • @Scalier Hahahah yeah.

  • @RiptN3rd forgot to tell you that your mom is made in china so shes a garbage

  • @RiptN3rd so are the ones that make up your house

  • @hk4k4shi cool story bro.

  • @RiptN3rd and your mom is made in china

  • Its a known fact that knuckles and shins will build cauloused reaction from the conditioning. The muay thai shin conditioning actually "kills the nerves" in and around the shin sometimes rerouting the nerves. THAT hand has a life expectancy of a few more years before he is going to be advised by physicians to knock it off and think about the reality of loosing his hand altogether. not worth his 5 min of fame. IRONICALLY he probably has a GLASS JAW!! what a loser !

  • @vvvvnewcreation Actually Thai boxers create whats called micro fractures in the shins which heal up and the bone ends up eventually growing far denser with skin callusing around the areas of impact. As for the pain? I have done it for years and I guess I have been accustomed to it. No nerve rerouting. This guy however....not sure what to say. I knew a few Iron Palm masters and they did this but none have a hand anything like that. He may be going overboard :O

  • @shkotay yeah I really agree with you on that one. I also think it's partly because he hit's with his knuckle's at the iron palm bag. Because that won't do good later with his knuckle joints with or without the medicine

  • @vvvvnewcreation You couldn't be more wrong, first of all that hand will stay like that as long as he conditions it. The dit da jaw ointment prevents any contusions or blood clots, plus when nature takes it's toll on the rest of his body, he'll always have that solid, devastating hand. As for his jaw, well I guess we'll never know but I would like for you to be man enough to test it. Just admit that it's more than having 5 mins of fame, it's about having a mutha fucking iron palm, oh yeah!!!!!

  • ive been training in the martial arts for many many years and have learned many many conditioning exercise for knuckles and shines with positive results. This man is has a compulsive disorder! there is no need to risk losing feelings in the hand to break bricks like that. My professor tore phone books, bent nails, tore license plates.. and all through out was complaining or suffering from chronic pain or sprung thumb. LOOK at his hand for cying out loud its DEFORMED!!He cant even brush his teeth

  • @vvvvnewcreation Who the hell needs teeth, when you have a narley looking, meat hook like that? Don't tell me that you care more about having normal looking hands over being able to smash through trees and rip apart iron cages. Normal hands never got anyone 5 mins of fame on youtube....

  • @vvvvnewcreation

Don't over advertising yourself on your training. If you dont want to believe, just fine, go to China, try it on

  • This is really amazing..! I just need to know if its really important to have this SPECIAL remedy to be applied to the hand..? Just trying to avoid the myth and mystery... I use balms and ointments which I can easily buy at any drug store... The main purpose of these remedies is to recover skin blod circulation, treat bruises and micro-traumas of soft tissues and bones, soften the palm skin... Am I right..??? Can I do with it..???

  • @div545

It depends on the style and method you practice (varies from school to school). If you're really interested, find a proper school to train in. Bad practice methods can leave you with permanent injuries.

  • @cryingsun Thank you for your comment. Actually my question was about ointment to be applied, not about variety of schools and methods. I use the same conditioning method to harden strike surfaces of my body which is the base method for ANY real fighting system. My interest was NOT about good, or bad practice, proper or impromer schools. I wanted to know about REMEDIY is being applied in shown video NOT how to find a proper school..!

  • @div545

My bad :X The video didn't give the full list of medicines and there a number of formulas for the ointment out there (as mentioned, depends on who you're learning from), but the common base seem to be 地骨皮 (chinese wolf berry tree bark) and table salt in enough parts, boiled in hot water and wash your hands in it after practice.

  • this is true iron palm

  • wow

  • This is GREAT video..! Can someone tell me what is these hitting pads filled with..? Gravel..? Iron shots..??

  • @div545 I don't know for certain, but I think it's safe to assume that he's an advanced Iron Palm practitioner. In which case, the bags would be filled with either iron shot, or large rocks mixed with gravel. That's usually the case in advanced Iron Palm training.

  • 6:40 is simply awesome!

  • Now thats what im talking about... real kung fu!!!! awesome to behold :D

  • After he hits my face... Ouch! Splat!!! Poof!

  • Why would you train only one hand and not the other, that doesn't make any sense at all.

  • @JarredD798HungMan1

Because he has to write and eat. He cannot do these things if both his hands are like this.

  • Thanks for adding the Subtitles for the first few minutes Omar :)

  • The swelling is abnormal - looks like a broken bone to me - I did that once & it swole the same.

Iron Palm does not do this.

  • @gareththomasnz

If you ever read ancient Chinese Kung Fu books, you will find the original iron palm is like this.

  • Comment removed

  • thats not the principle of the transformation in his hand. is compressed liquified muscle fiber, thicker bones and thicker skin. there is an amount of pain involved indeed. till most of the external nerves will lay under a heavy mass of roughed skin. his loudsy circus is a circus indeed. they show their skills and get points.. just like when you compete in karate or jin wu. if you dont give a shit why you emit an opinion.it certainly amazes you so much you had to say something. ;)

  • any of those arrogant brazilian jiu jitsu guys wont stand a chance against him!

  • Here is the trick for those want to impress your friends. Soak the bricks in acid for one week. Remove it from the acid solution and soak it in water for a couple days to dilute to concentration of acid on the surface of the bricks. After that you can break 4,5,or 6 easy.

  • wow. impressive. bravo. that's not just external stuff there, good internal work too. he's trained really really REAALLY hard.

  • wow....he has been doing this his whole life. now that is true dedication.

  • i say allow open hand strikes in the MMA. make a deal with this guy to take has his winning and send him in and let him make mince meat outta everyone else there.

  • Well, I admire his perseverance and I think that process was gradual,as it should be. My grandfather's hands look like that too and he was a construction worker all his life, and I mean old school, with no fancy machines to help (and he's skinny). He's in his 80's, has no arthritis. Once hit himself with a hammer over the index while I was helping him, shattered most of the fingernail, no blood, no bruise. Freakiest moment of my life.

  • that's not a hand that's a mallet, rofl

  • that hand looks sick :(

  • dude that guy's hand is fucked forever.

  • You're not supposed to hurt your hands with real iron palm; it's done slowly, gradually toughening your skin and bones with lots of dit da jow.

  • @theScytheofGod

i agree. i've been doing iron palm for a few years now, and it really takes time and dit da jow for it to properly develop. and hey, i can still draw pretty well with my hand :D

  • look at his palm! I'd like to see an xray for his bone structure and how thick his bones are.

  • Alright. That's real iron palm... screw the other people posting vids. None of those are close to this.

  • Franchement, impressionnant sa main !!!

  • i would like to see a subtitle to this video

  • I hope he use his left hand all so.

  • I agree, hopefully he later did and also work his finger then work hi sway up to his arms and then body and legs, lots of hard work, makes me feel ashamed of how lazy I am....Good work man!!!

  • I really like someone to do a follow up on this guy in 10 years to see if his training harms his hands in any way. Better yet, they should interview his master or grandmaster. This is interesting. I'm thinking if this is worth learning.

  • @GetDamage its not u lose funtion in ur hand for life

  • ouw man this is a bit disgusting^^ it doesnt seem very healthy to have such a killer hand which is obviously gigantic in comparison to the other one^^

  • youtube-mutuwala-skydive-las vegas

yep, das me 15000ft up, oooohhh

    xx bless iah seen xx

  • does anyone of the type of dit da jow he was using for this type of conditioning?

  • This guy is different, he can break.

  • I do this daily but with a 3/4'' 2-ft steel bar (chop to bend it)

  • iron hand , hard kungfu.

  • where can i see this video in english?

  • The breaking is very good. Very impressed with the finger strength! But I dont understand the condition only 1 hand deal. A one handed martial artist? What if you were caught offside forward? I'd like to know your thoughts

  • yeah i see wot u mean. but bruce lee wasnt able to perform the one inch punch with max power using his other hand.

  • hes obviously only conditioned one hand, so he can still have at least one good hand for writing and using utensil judging by the way his one hand is deformed from conditioning. And to answer your question if he was caught off side forward he'll probably hit you with his good unconditioned hand like any normal person? its not like he can only use one arm you know...:rolls eyes: but yeah i wouldnt want to be hit by his strong one either =X

  • I know where Sanningsministeriet and TosiValhe are coming from. Conditioning can be purely external, though some styles/methods can involve both (internal also).

TosiValhe what you are refering to is "Wolff's law". all thai boxers end up the same maybe because they all condition the same?! All I know is that its unfair to say all conditioning gives arthritis because 1) not all conditioning is the same and 2) Personally, my master or none before him have ever had that and have lived very long

  • arthritis in old age!

  • True! People can give the thumbs down all they want, all thai boxers end up the same way!

  • This is very true, many people who subject their hands and other limbs to repeated blows often develop arthritis as a result. This is caused by a buildup of calcium around joints that develop in order to protect against blows. "Iron Palm" is very dangerous, theoretically because of this.

  • Actually the original Iron palm is something different. It is not a martial art, it is just a series of exercises used to strenghten bones and joints. A hand which completed the training should ahe a normal appearence, any deformation displays overtraining, and so an injury. Going arround braking things is no martial art.

  • iron palm is not a martial art? u got a brain? many arts have some form of brick breaking. iron palm is a famous technique from China and is a deadly form of self defence or striking technique. going around breaking things is no martial art u say, what do u want them to do break peoples heads.

  • Irom palm is NOT the striking teknique, but only the part concerning the enforcement of the forearms and hands. United with striking tecniques it does enables you to "brake things". However this might be useful in a larger frame it does not constitute a martial art on itself. Having mastered only Iron palm and kiwary thus does not make you a martial artist.

  • well i didnt say only knowing iron palm makes someone a martial artist. but they will know a powerful martial art technique.

  • @yoshyoka

There are, however, martial arts who have no defined external injuries but continue to develop terrible arthritis into old age.

  • Absolutely true, like thai boxing. Others, like western boxing give high probability of alzheimer and dementia..

  • Iron Palm is one piece of a series of skills developed for martial arts...no ones really claiming it to be a martial art on to it self....but it was developed for that purposed, think about it, why would someone want to condition there hand in such a way for no reason? obviously for striking and blocking. So yes it IS a martial art just not a martial art system. The "art" is the process and methods and training to achieve that skill and the "martial" part is that its used for striking/combat..=X

  • My point is that he totally forgot to train the second half (real combat techniques). Besides, one handed training and physical deformation are sympthom of wrong training, not of a learned skill.

  • @yoshyoka How do you know what else he trained in? Maybe he does tons of san da. Why do people always assume that just because someone demos one thing that that's all they do or know?

  • @Elephantpalm

Because I know the guy, though not personally.

  • damn his hand is messed up at 3:00

  • it looks like he seriously fukd up one hand jus to break bricks

  • When he holds his 2 hands together he chuckles and comments that his right hand is "twice as thick" as the left.

  • its funny how its always "theres no such thing as chi" but then people talk about focus and intent and coordination and strenght of will. Theres more than 50 interpretations for the word "chi", there sure is no "use the force Luke"-factor about this, but rest assured that chi is involved.

  • its true that bruce lee said boards don't hit back i.e we must know our opponents move

but even bruce said on an interview which was you must train every part of your body

i.e even strength and great power is still important...love to see you survive an attack, he just needs one hit

  • Look at his hand! It looks like its fat because the tissue has strenghtened..

Guys, There is no CHI, its all just physical devotion and years of training.

  • its because of chi is how his tissue is like that

don't you know chi alters limbs when you build it up

body builders have huge muscles you saying they can do the same stuff? i bet they'd break their fists

don't argue with 1000's of years of hypothesis and training

  • Man you are STUPID. Injuring some part of your body makes it stronger. Break your bone, and it will become twice as strong than before. Muay Thai boxers kick trees to make their calf stronger.

No freaking CHI involved, just a protection mechanism.

  • how does kicking a tree make your calves stronger?..........i heard it makes your shins denser and stronger but your calves are on the back of your leg man lmao it makes there shins stronger not there calves haha!

  • hctibpou kcuf eht tuhs

  • I have to comment though ,that without chi , there is no such thing as life ...

Chi is the reason we live and that birds can fly .

  • so if he does that to someones rib

    crackkkk and internal bleeding right?

  • this is real iron palm !!

  • hes not human.hes a alien.

  • He may be able to brake bricks now. but I bet he can't open a water bottle when he's 70.

  • Must find it hard to whipe his arse too

  • must be hard being "arse"whipes yourselves...

  • You dick

The reason he only conditions the one hand is because the hand becomes almost soley a fighting tool thus making it hard to do every day activites. Having both conditioned to his level would make it almost impossible. So yeah it must be hard for him to whipe his arse with that hand

But thats okay.. looks like you've been doing it for him (y)

  • hopefully you weren't talking to me :D

  • I was..

  • i'm sorry i offended you...???

  • totally agree !!

  • :D coooool

  • @DEBBIE092461 Bet he can - he'll just smash the frigging top off!

  • @DEBBIE092461 yeah, smartone no can, my grandma cant even do that

  • @DEBBIE092461 not true th amount of bone conditioning training/excercise it takes to do this stuf is imense, keeps your bones solid forever im 67 nxt year & yet slice bricks, have been practicing kung fu since i was 14.

  • false.

  • look for this video and tell him that. Hidden Qi & Qigong part 1

  • it is very adventurous to debate against 4000 years of hidden knowledge. now we see it on youtube and we even think dare to think we have an opinion. 4000 years of known history and probably 5000. they are still there, they live longer, they are stronger... they transform their bodies... we get amazed but due to the lack of background we try to attack it cause we cant perform it. instead of shooting out the first thing that comes out of your brain, why dont you inform yourself a bit better.

  • @dejstil1974 Fuckin' aye. I don't practice Chinese wushu, but I have a healthy respect for it. I'm an amateur contortionist (barely a beginner), but whenever I do the splits, or put one of my feet behind by head, people naturally assume I'm in pain, or hurting myself doing that.

They don't understand the natural progression applied in athletics and wushu (albeit in different forms depending upon what you train in).

    Peace = )

  • one more thing. they dont really hit the bag or whatever they hit "that hard" they let gravity and natural motion do the hit. it also takes years to develope it.. they start with some soft content bag.. then they change the content for something harder and harder and so on. its progressive. Ive seen very old chinese men who practice this and japanese as well and they are doing just fine... in fact... arthritis is the least of the problems theyll have.

  • @dejstil1974 Takayuki Kubota is the only living soke alive still, ( inventor of complete japanese style karate system practiced world wide) and one of the only to obtain the 10th dan (highest rank black belt) in the world. and he's been doing iron palm training since he was like 10 and he's like in his 70's or 80's or something now and his hand and shins and everything are as hard as steel. no problems what so ever.

  • @DEBBIE092461 sure he will...he'll just hit it open.

  • None of this guys wail away at the target, which is a shame. A right straight out powers all the fist strikes one see's in kung fu and Karate- so i'd like to see some guys hitting hard objects like that, which is how I train, though I admittingly end up cutting my fist quickly that way.

  • DUDE HES ON HIS FINGERS 0:05

  • yeah i think we all saw :\

  • i been training shoalin in england for abit the iron skills

not mastered any yet getting close very close

  • Not everyone has the heart to fight. real life fighting is not all about technique. you need some balls too!!!! When you see someone in the mma stuff or any ring who's getting owned cuz his technique is crap but he goes all the rounds, keeps going forward and survives THAT'S HEART LADS AND THAT WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why not train the other hand?

  • I was told either you can have one Massively strong Iron Palm , or two equally Mediocre iron fists, Ya Dig ? His one palm is probably stronger than someone wit two average ones

  • true.its a sledge hammer

  • that medicine water is really expensive... plus in China lots of people sell fakes. those who are able to afford it; train not only both hands but also both arms. Plus I think he's only training for bricks competition single is enough =) lol he can row his hands into a fist and turn it into a hammer!

  • subs no help lol

  • Dude has bread loaves for hands O_O

  • I luv this video, can't stop watching it!

  • And as far as a skilled martial artist beating up someone who's never trained, here's the deal:

If the two people are about equal size, strength, speed, etc..., then the martial artist will crush his opponent. If the opponent is somewhat stronger faster etc, the martial artist will still win. Only if the opponent is in REMARKABLY better shape than the martial artist will he be able to win, and even then, if the martial artist is REMARKABLY talented, the MA will, again, still win

  • Only partialy true Just cause you train in martial arts and our talented at katas doesn't mean your a fighter, see there's a difference. I wouldn't put Bruce Lee up against Muhammad Ali, orJackie Chan against Mike Tyson in his prime ? Do U understand what I'm trying to say ?

  • Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson weren't just big strong dudes, they were trained in a style of fighting. I'm using the term martial arts very generally here. I really mean to cover martial arts, martial science, lethal arts, and various other styles of combat.

So maybe Bruce Lee couldn't beat Ali, but he could beat someone with the same strength and athleticism as Ali who didn't actually know what they were doing. make sense?

  • i think lee could have beaten ali.

  • @tonlo2006 why would you compare bruce lee to muhammad ali? bruce was 135 pounds ali was over 200. And jackie vs tyson? jackie chan is a actor who has no formal martial arts training at all other then Opera wushu(chinese theater) and tyson is a heavy weight pro....You sounded like you made a point until you mention that dumb analogy lmao try comparing a pro karateka like lyoto machida or cung le to tyson and ali if your gona compare martial artist dumb ass. common sense please

  • I never heard of Lyoto Machida or Cung Le but you seem to spend your time hanging from there nut sack don'tchu dare disrespect me Hoe ! pro karateka take yo MMA dick Riding Azz down the street .

  • II've also broken brick, and it is very difficult. I saw one of my masters break 5 that were lined up on a table without anything to make the break easy (ie holders etc...).

  • i want this guy to punch me in the face. just to know how it feels hahaha
