  • david lee roth,that's who...

  • Just Rock's!!! Dave who????

  • ou812 = oh, u ate one too!! :)

  • Yawn. 5150,5151,5152,5153,5154. Be asleep soon.

  • Are you a girl?

  • Top Ten guitar playing here. wow

  • such a melodic build up in this song from Ed, and then it just explodes when the solo comes. What a great song musically, this was one of the last great records the boys came out with

  • Love This!!!

  • Roth or Hagar doesn't matter...without Michael Anthony's hi-end backing vocals, it ain't VH. JMO

  • Don't care what anyone sez, this is the absolute BEST Van Halen album, and will always be! The raw music (especially Eddie), the lyrics...

  • @Rachel7711 You are smoking crack if you think this is the best VH album. PUHLEEEEZ

  • @bklynboy68 Really. I LOVE all things Van Halen. I'd rather be on crack than on DORK. Got Crack?

  • @Rachel7711 Directed at bklynboy68. Everyone's got their opinions, buddy. You wouldn't be here unless ya dug it da most! Sure, I love DLR, but SH had his big-ass moments with VH, and this is the standout one. It IS one of the more artistic, beautiful, outstanding moments for VH, according to me. But I've got an AH, just like the rest of ya with opinions. Sue me!

  • Awesome cowbell

  • HOT song! This one's for my my crush! ;-)

  • yes, it is the best of their best at their best, hahahha

  • I wrote Black and Blue for Van Halen inspired by the title of The Rolling Stones '76 album Black and Blue. Joe Elliott of Def Leppard discovered me in '83 while on tour at the age of 15. INXS & Adam & The Ants on tour in Jun '83 Mutt Lange brought them to meet me after I started working on Pour Some Sugar On Me. Later Michael Jackson came to meet me. Eddie Van Halen had worked on the Thriller album. I also wrote MJ's Black or White inspired by INXS song Black and White

  • @Boddahism Cool story bro.

  • @Boddahism your so full of shit dude

  • @918papa We all are, but that is not the point. I wrote the song Black and Blue for Van Halen. I was involved with Michael Hutchence of INXS from the age of 15 in 1983 and Van Halen and INXS performed at the US Fest in '83 together. Not to mention I was working with Producer Mutt Lange and many others.

  • Love this song....it's scrumptious! Makes me want to purr and moan! MEOW! ;)

  • great start up tune for the early morning trip!

  • The best of the best at their best.

  • Van Halen>Lil Wayne

  • Great album.

  • you should be able to her it - see how cleare? awesome 0- wow

  • the removal or chord substitutionsons

  • wish they would remaster the Van Hagar era, especially 5150 and OU812.Have the DLR era remasters.

  • The good old days are still here if you keep track of how many shoot "s you got in you and I will be in Tahoe and @ Ironstone and it be A blast . CALLIE5140

  • 4o\m/

  • Ah the good ole days!!!!

  • This by far the best that Sammy did with these guys and was not much of a Hagar fan till a buddy dragged me to Tahoe in 2005 and then I was hooked not to mention I happen to a red anyway Happy Trails Callie

  • One of their best period.

  • This one hold's up well. Make you move and groove.

  • no doubt cherone sux ass...sammy hagar made van halen...dave was a fukin faggot drunk fuk...just watch the jump video...look how hez dressed...hes queer...hahaaaaa,sammy rulez!!

  • @blastomatic1 Dave fucked more chicks than you jerked of too in ten lifetimes, go to bed Elmo.

  • Swear to God...fifty years from now two wrinkled old fuckers in VH t-shirts and wheelchairs will be sittin' around the nursing home still fighting over which version of the band was better -- Sammy or Diamond Dave. Haaa! Oh well, can we all at least agree that the VH version with Gary Cherone SUCKED DOUCHE WATER?

  • @JimHadar1 Even with Cherone was better than the shit out there nowadays

  • @TOSportsFan1990 Aggred.

  • @JimHadar1 ROTFLMMFAO that is so on the noise lol and yes Gary Cherone in Van Halen did suck dirty douche water!!!

  • I was in the Navy in San Diego when this came out in 88, and heard it on the 101.5 KGB.......Big shout out to Sue Delaney from KGB for keeping us sailors and marines rockin' out.....

  • I used to clean my house to this CD. Think I danced more than I cleaned!!!! Love this CD

  • Sammy's lyrics and vocal deliveries weren't as good on this record as 5150, but Eddie felt this was their best record to date when it came out. The actual music was great, I don't think it was Sammy's best work though. Some of the lyrics and Sammy melody ideas sounded generic.

  • Rock and roll ain't noise pollution....... wait.......what?

  • Ok, I'm only 16...I was seriously born in the wrong decade...All my favourite bands are from the 70's and 80's, because its good music unlike todays rubbish!

  • oh wow man what fuckin memories this song brings back,,,,i actually had a life back then!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW!!!!!!!! seen this tour awesome times back then i loved the 80s

  • bon Morceau je n'avais jamais écouté une seule chanson auparavant.

  • Say what you want about Dave's tights and being a pansy, but the fact of the matter is that he sold more albums, on average, than Hagar did, while with VH (not including their solo careers.)

  • @weebee833 Your really dumb.... They had more #1 Albums with Hagar then Dave. Why dont u actually figure out what your talking about before you speak. Moron

  • only person that didn't like this must be a justin bieber or hanna montanna fan and wtf are they watching vh anyway if they don't like them . this is a great tune by a real rock band not like the shit todays music

  • I love the VH arguments .. let me get in on this: Roth is pansy ass moron in tights with charisma. Hagar was successful before VanHalen and continues success after VanHalen. Sammy had more time w/ VanHalen than Roth, sold WAAAAAAAAY more albums than Roth. Sammy's solo career pretty damn successful. Roth's solo career is a total and complete joke. EVH to this day is one of the most amazing guitarists that ever lived ... shame he's in such bad shape. Let the retard fest begin!!

  • sounds like ac/dc Rock n roll aint noise pollution a little bit at the beggining

  • 1988 what a great year in music!..whew so many great songs and bands was a awesome year man..

  • wow.... old rock really sucked

  • @Koscheck2011 "Old Rock"? This is amazing stuff. New wave is garbage.

  • @Koscheck2011 Bite me loser!

  • "don't draw the line"

  • It's too bad that we'll probably never hear the awesome backup harmonies of EVH and Michael Anthony again since Mike decided to sever almost all ties with the band :(

  • @RonBurg92 Mike didnt decide to leave.. eddie let him go because he wanted to jam with his son..

  • @codebreaker212p yea but mike is so rich he dont care man, and ended up with Sammy anyway..its all good man..

  • @RonBurg92 It was Eddie and Alex Van Halen who dumped him without telling him.

  • Sorta sounds like AC/DC Rock and Roll Aint Noise Pollution.

  • i m ust be getting old because i remember i use to babysit for the van halen family i remember these two van halen boys when they were toddlers

  • @thundertower They probably rocked then too =-) I always figured Eddie was born with a guitar in his hands.

  • more cowbell

  • been wired since van- halen one

  • Love it!

  • is there anyone else who gets teh bodyshakes along with that guitar wiggle @ teh end ... 4:36

  • Very sexual song! I always say that to my honey when were in the heat of the moment! " Honey i aint through with you" Thanks.

  • Damn, I miss the 80s.

  • Are there any guitarist today that can even come close to playing like Eddie and Randy Rhoads??

  • @ken01fan Zakk Wylde..maybe? He comes close.

  • @rennmatt hahahahahahahahahaha

  • One of the few Hagar songs I really like.

  • Slip and slide...push it in...bitch sure got the r..... yes,,,I Like That!!

  • sawem 2 times on this tour .monsters of rock,l.a. collisium, 8/24/88, 11/88, in san diego.10 gigs total w/ the mighty nut bustin halen..

  • good pumping iron music.

  • 80s was the chit :D

  • Great tune! ....Love both versions of Van Halen...saw all three versions if ya wanna count Gary ....Dave the ultimate showman...Sammy the better singer..IMHO.....i won`t comment on Gary .....

  • @signalsyyz I will ... Gary sucked ... saw them with Gary and I wanted my money back .. was horrible! The rest of the band was good but he ruined it for the most part! :(~

  • this song just makes you move!

  • One of the few Van Halen/Hagar tracks which really Rock!!

  • One of my favorite songs of of OU812.

  • @theosu66 This IS my favorite song from OU812. THIS KICKS ASS!!!

  • @theosu66 My other favorite songs on this album are When It's Love, Cabo Wabo and Finish What You Started. Eddie Van Halen one time said this was one of his least favorite albums, although he always has been kind of a pessimist.

  • @theosu66

what are you talking about its the best song ever !!!!!

  • No one has fun rockin' like this anymore! Sure miss this kind of music.

  • @GreatGusher what are YOU talking about? there's PLENTY OF GREAT ROCK OUT TODAY!!!

  • @PopCulture20 like what?

i really wanted to know because i can only find shit rock

  • @doranemon yea that's this decade for ya;

  • @doranemon ...wow! if this is shit for you, well... maybe you are blind... and def.

  • @carensaldi you didnt understanded..

im not talking about old bands like van halen.

im talking about new bands. those are shit rock.

by the way my favourite bands are van halen scorpions and whitesnake.

  • @doranemon ... sorry, I`m blind!!! Scorpions and Whitesnake... I love these bands too.

But Van Hagar are the way for me.

  • I miss tongue-in-cheek hard-rockers like this.

  • I must be getting old - but I still know good rock n roll. I'm a VH fan from the beginning!

  • @Zaps101 So am I, Man! So am I. I've been listening to Van Halen for more than 30 years, and I'm JUST GETTING STARTED (YEAH!!!)

  • @1962drob cool isnt it great

  • @Zaps101 I am gettin old but Van Halen still rocks!!
