  • WHAT A PLANE!!!

  • Love the MD series aircraft. The engine spool up in this sounds like a cross between the BR series on the 712 and the PWJT8Ds

  • This is a great plane. I wish it were manufactured again.

  • I can see I have a lot of friends here. Go MD-90 POWER!

  • i fuck engines

    wahahahahhahahahahahhaha LOL

  • Good angle rotation! :O

  • If you are crazy, I'm crazy as well!!

For me nothing compares to the MD-80/90 family.

Those long sleek lines are simply uncomparable to me.

They will always be my all-time favourite planes.

The MD-90 would have desreved a much betteer destiny, but it was sadly and prematurely killed to protect 737 sales.

  • honestly my FAVORITE plane... a lot of folks think im crazy, but i dunno.. its so sleek and clean lookin on the ground and in the air.. and yeah it climbs like a beast..lol

  • Best rate of climb after the space shutle, The MD90!

  • Hi! Have you see TU-154?It goes almoust vertical.

  • @ljeskovica The Soviet Union produced some of the world's greatest aircraft!

  • Not. The MD-100 with GE-90 engines beats the space shuttle too... just kidding.. but wouldn't it be beastly to see one of those engines mounted onto the back of an MD-8x/MD-9x? Sure, it's not technically possible.. but oh my god!

  • IAE V2525

    25000lbs of thrust

    and lots of ROARING...

    Enjoy

  • love the video.

I wonder what would happen if the window broke. Some passengers would probably get soaked up into the engine :) ?

  • If the window broke at 35k feet it probably wouldn't matter

  • listen to those big engines

  • nice vid

  • lISTEN TO THOSE BIG V2500S WOW!

  • love that engine sound, a320 family has this engines too

  • Cool. Shame the MD90 was phased out.

  • notice how Boeing phased out all of the McDonnell Douglas birds that were still in production and well enjoyed...like da Md90, the MD-95 (now the 717), the Md-11.

  • Delta Still Flys them...
