@fbrickster did i crash on purpose? No. I was just having fun flying the approach.. most were good but this one not so much. The approach speed has to be very low in order to get in there wich is why my flares look exaggerated. Best to begin flare over the water and have the plane stall on to the rwy. This also allows u to beable to keep the stick back durring braking to apply more weight to the main gear.

This goes completely against aviation rules but apply the speed brakes if you are trying to get the aircraft down quickly. It practically makes you just drop onto the runway.

The first thing i put in ALL my flight sim videos is FSX (flight simulator x) and i do this so that its easier to know that its a flight simulator video for people like you. I do this by choice (your welcome) NOT because im required to do so. I could ask that real world videos have "real world" in the tittle. It would take up too much of the title space much like it would for me to spell out "flight simulator" how bout writing youtube and ask them to do a better job categorizing the videos....

just a tip for ya when landing any plane , im guessing the same keys in FSX will be the same in FS9 press the SHIFT and / Keys to arm the spoliers whilst inflight this saves you having to do it on touch down also use the auto brakes which u will find somewhere on the cockpit panel this savin u havin to breaking leavin u free to just engage the reversers on landing.I use these on every aircraft i fly and makes landing so much easier.Great final landing though even if u were doin it the manual way

umm nope although u can if u want to it does apply any more breaking power than hold down the brakes.. the seccond run i was slower, lower, landed earlier and was able to hit the spoilers, reversers and brakes quicker..

go to settings in the main menu and click realism there should be a button that says detect crashes and select that and now u should be able to crash

I sort of agree, but if this crash were real then there probably wouldn't be a fire, as the nose would take most of the impact and there is minimal sliding. But I think that you seem to think that tryres exploding are not dangerous! That's why the concorde crashed, and it was set on fire by a piece of rubber that wasn't even flaming itself. In FS yes, I would use the parking break, but it wouldn't really be an option in real life...
