  • I have the correct reverse light bulb, but the plastic harness won't stay in the back of the light, no matter how much I try to twist it in there. It just falls right back out. This seems to be a common problem?

  • No offense but the original ones are wayyyyy better

  • @dmolition123 well, everyone has their preference.. some prefer OEM, some prefer a different style

  • @Specdtuninginfo im gonna get xactly taillights as you Got. nice lights :)

  • @vaskarusky91 Thanks! visit K2motor.com to get yours today! =D

  • @Specdtuninginfo i think that where i bought them.

  • Great DIY Video!! Thumbs up!! But those taillights are fucking disgusting to look at. If I see any ricer wit these taillight I'ma slap the crap outta them.

  • Just bought some LED Tails for my 2010 Scion tC. Everything works fine. Anyone have questions? Let me know... I'll see if I can be of any help.

  • Hey I recently purchased these lights for my 05 scion tc JDM 05-10 SCION TC SMOKE TINTED LED TAIL LIGHTS LAMPS and the bulb that is suppose to transfer from the old light doesn't even come close to fitting into the hole in the new lights! It is for the reverse light...have any suggestions? Could they have sent the wrong ones for a different year car??

  • @iisuite they know that it doesnt fit! i just bought some and they dont fit the bulb is way to big thats why they skipped it! not to mention mine. idk why but only the turn and hazard lights work. please help? why dont the regular back ones just stay on???

  • @Vtrjfrost Just return them! I did! They expect you to get a different size bulb which is way smaller and really dim and you can barely see it when reversing! As far as your lights not working right, I assume you have some of the wires mixed up and plugged into the wrong ones.

  • @iisuite i got them to work finally ugh. and yea the bulb i need is a smaller size, yea they knew it didnt fit thats why in both videos they dont show how to put the reverse light in.fucking scam!

  • @Vtrjfrost Yeah that's why I sent mine back and got ALL my money back! They don't deserve to make money off of me or anyone for that matter!

  • @iisuite These are LED tail lights, not your regular Tail lights. The bulbs are smaller, and you dont transfer the bulbs, just the harness. Are you sure you purchased the correct tail lights? our LED tail lights already come with bulbs, and regular tail lights can be replaced with stock bulbs.

  • @iisuite yea and its funny thers so many comments on the reverse light too!! why the fuck do they ignore them?? they know it doesnt fit right! fuck spec d faggots

  • @Vtrjfrost apologies everyone. But you have to know that your standard bulb will definitely not fit with these LED tail lights. our products come with the LED bulbs included. There's a difference between LED tail lights and your standard Altezza tail lights. Sorry for any inconvenience.

  • @Specdtuninginfo thankyou for responding

  • Hi I am trying to install these lights right now. At 2:45 you guys skip over installing the black housing bulb into the new light. Our case/housing seems to be a to big to fit in a lock. Should it just slide in easily or is there a certain way we have to do this.

  • @hecticCow There are adaptor harnesses included in the tail light kit. Connect supplied harness to the black connector then to the tail light.

  • @Specdtuninginfo Please help I'm still having trouble, okay i have the supplied harness, I cant seam to get ht bulb to fit to the tailight

  • @missnanabanana maybe you're not plugging the correct bulb into the sockets or your bulb is just a different size. check with a mechanic or look around online to check out fitments

  • @Specdtuninginfo dude the bulb doesnt fit. i just bought them and even WITH the adapter harness the hole in the light will no accomodate the bulb???!!!

  • Another question....If I were planning on tinted these lights which one would you suggest for better brightness of the light? If you look at my vids youll see my OEM tail are tinted pretty dark and it can be hard to see the lights which is why i was looking into a LED replacement. From what I see you offer a chrome, red, and black housings. I was thinking about the black so less tint will be needed for the same affect.

  • Thanks for the fast response!

  • Is the reverse light relocated to the upper part of this light?

Is the light flashing at 3:55 what it does for the turn signal?

Also whats the life of these led's? Ive heard mixed reviews on almost all LED tails for the tC on how long they last.

  • @yamaha16bw Correct, the reverse light is located on the upper corners of the tail lights. And shot at 3:55 shows the lights blinking, because the lights double as parking light and signal light (medium brightness and full brightness). The LEDs have a very long life span, there has been thousands sold. There is no definate time; since the life of a product is due to ware and tear. Thank you

  • @yamaha16bw The tinting would look nice for the tail lights. You only have about two options to tint: paint and tint film. Depending on how you want it. And if you plan to tint; as long as you go with LEDs would be good. Cause it will keep it bright enough when you tint. This way, you can keep local law off your back. Any would look nice on the your TC. Nice choice in car by the way! Good luck!

  • I appreciate this vid. Thanks. Looks so easy . I wonder why they charge so much for installation and the labor.

  • Thanks so much for the comments. I agree, that somethings are more simple than they look and you get the pride of self completion (DIY) under your belt. While some places charge an arm and leg. Good luck, thanks again

  • Is it more complicated if you have the grounds affect body kit?

  • There will be no complications, because the tail lights is exactly the same dimensions as the stock tail lights. The bumper can be taken off the same way, unless your body kit is fused with the quarter panel. Thank you for your inquiry.

  • it looks so easy, why does it cost so much to get it done?

  • Thank you so much for that response. We agree, we made the video to help our customers on the additional savings not only to lights we sell, but also on the installation process. Paying for it done is one thing, but having it done yourself......pricesavings! hahaha

  • I just got some LED tail lights in and i was scared because i couldn't figure out what plugged into what. Thanks a lot guys.

  • Thank you so much for your comments. We are happy to know that our videos are helping. We look forward on continuing to create more videos to come. Hope you enjoy your new lights.

  • is it possible to change the taillights without unscrewing the rear bumber?

  • It is always recomended to remove the rear bumper to prevent and damages from trying to streach and pull the bumper to get the lights out. Thanks

  • wow finaly a very good video on installing the led tail light.. its 2 years late for me lol.. it wasnt hard to do .. but these guys jst made it more simple than it really is.. great job..
