@Hiltz94 its a whole different ball game to COD but the fundamentals are the same, switching from a controller to a keyboard and mouse takes some getting used to, if you are actively looking to improve you will be decent in a month, if you say played 2 hours everyday, you will need to learn the source engine, and how its physics affect your game play if your interested in getting very good. All of this comes down to how much time you play and explore the game.

the thing in counter strike is that it takes skill and map knowledge to be sucessfull i know it is hard in the beggining but you get use to it. play with some friends or buy the counter strike with bots and train there.

CSS is known for having the worst hitboxes, yes. But after the orangebox engine upgrade CSS have now the same hitboxes as the NPCs in. HL2ep2. Wich Are not bad at all

The biggest different for me in this game was 1.3 to 1.4 when they changed the jumping. That was a huuuge change, and we were all really pissed. 1.3 took cs too a big competetive game. I sure loved it.
