I never watched this case on TV because the bias is detrimental. When the evidence is put forth to someone but the lawyers add a feature of doubt than it makes the jury to be confused and often becomes entangled and calls non guilty. Same with O.J, good lawyers with good evidence.

I'm not sure Casey is guilty. All of the evidence, the strand of hair, the heart sticker, etc. is something that someone who killed her would have planted to frame someone else. Thus, none of the evidence means anything. For those that watched the case, it's just like the prosecution's final statement - that it relies on common sense. I think she is guilty to so I am in no way defending her. I am defending out system and in this case it did work rather she was found guilty or not. @yomamasapeach The jury isn't allowed access to the media during the trial, and there is rigorous criteria they have to meet-- particularly little or no pre-existing familiarity with the case-- before they are selected to participate in the hearing.
If you charge someone with first degree capital murder, YOU HAVE TO PROVE IT. If you were on trial for murder, you'd want the same burden of proof placed on the prosecution. It goes both ways, so open your ignorant eyes.

I never watched this case on TV because the bias is detrimental. When the evidence is put forth to someone but the lawyers add a feature of doubt than it makes the jury to be confused and often becomes entangled and calls non guilty. Same with O.J, good lawyers with good evidence.

The point of a investigation is to find the best suspects who could have commited the crime and put them in jail. The fact is, the prosecution strolled into the courtroom thinking they could win a capital murder case with no motive, no direct evidence, and no witnesses.
They overcharged the case based on the evidence they had, and they lost because of it. Jury made the right call.

I'm not sure Casey is guilty. All of the evidence, the strand of hair, the heart sticker, etc. is something that someone who killed her would have planted to frame someone else. Thus, none of the evidence means anything. For those that watched the case, it's just like the prosecution's final statement - that it relies on common sense. The system worked based on a jury that applied the law to their judgement, and did not judge based on entertainment media, nor what society perceived based on "media diversion." The most disgusting thing about this entire affair is what the media has done with the coverage of this trial. It's absolutely sickening how the media has been doling out insincere punditry for the sake of ratings and surplus. I doubt the sincerity of the public's concern for the child. The public might as well be empathising with a wall when they talk about "justice" for Caylee Anthony.
All of you people who are calling for vigilante justice are hypocrites. Vigilante killings are murder too.

I figure if she don't have enough common sense to call Casey by her actual name, the least we can do is add a few letters to her last name to point out what a media nut case she makes herself out to be. Double jeopardy DOES apply, it's just a different court system, so she COULD be tried again there on the same crime, only there's one problem. SHE DID NOT COMMIT A FEDERAL CRIME. It's that simple. A jury of her peers acquitted her of any wrongdoing outside of lying to the police. PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER IT! Enough of this "Tot Mom" bullshit!!!

Nancy Disgrace is perhaps the biggest DRAMA queen I've ever heard. Every time she speaks it's always with this super fake tone that is such a joke. Does she ever actually listen to herself speak. Casey Anthony walked free because there was NO DIRECT PROOF which left a lot of reasonable doubt to how the child died. Fact... nobody even knows exact cause of death but Nancy Disgrace and many others would like to send a person to jail for life without a fair trial. Stop being a drama queen Nancy!!
