A wonderful piece in some areas, but mostly i keep this one close by for study. It is very brash, full of senseless bravado, more for showmanship than sentimentality, it paints an amazing, but terribly arrogant fantasy scene. Very popular, but Ravel truly made much better art than this, it is beyond joking into overly precocious, but good for theory purposes.
He does a couple of things I like, and he definitively masters the technical aspect of it (I wish I had his assurance...)
But overall, listeling it left me breathless: where was the phrasing? It feels like he took a big breath and says everything with it. He knows how to keep a line going. The problem is that one has to let it go and start with another one when necessary...
Great performance Marco! You made me remind that perfect and brilliant interpretation recorded by Ivo Pogorelich at 1983. Congratulations! Scarbo is one of the most difficult piece for piano

You left hand is sometimes too loud. And it sounds a bit like notes jampacked together at certain spots.
I would play the whole thing more softly.
Overall, be proud of your accomplishment! It's so impressive...

on 7:50 and :51 you play twice wrong chord in left hand - there is Dsharp,A,B chord ;)
