That's wierd, becuase that is the 4.2 liter V8 from the Audi RS4 B7. But when you put this SAME exhaust on the Audi RS4 it sounds no where near as savage as this! I wonder why that is....

@statjr: Probably no Catalytic Converter, new Exhaust Manifold and Intake Manifold.

Or a Flap Exhaust System, know from brand such as Porsche.

There's a company here in germany who build such Exhaustsystems for various cars.

it's a v8, u can tell by

a- deep sound

b- two dual exhaust tips (quad)

the v10 two big circle looking on two sides exhaust and the car is a bit wider, and the v10 sound more high pitch
