The similarities between Tobi and Trowa Barton from Gundam Wing are a bit creepy.

They both play the flute, they both are basically the poster-children for emo hair, and... they both dress up like clowns.

I'm starting to see where the inspiration came from.

This was my FAVORITE movie when i was a kid!!!! I remember every time we went to the video place (which was not very often, so therefore a HUGE deal) as a kid, I always got a Bernadette Peters Fairy Tale and this one.

This show was on when I was a kid in the early 80's. The work is great, the music is great, and I have NEVER forgotten this show! There was a while back where I was looking around for it, at one point thinking I was never going to find it again, but thanks to the wonderful world of Youtube, and all the wonderful, vintage ppl on it, I have been able to come by it again!

-The charachter Toby on here is reminiscent of the Goblin King on the show Labyrinth if you look closely. =) Same era!

First, this anime was really for children when it was released to the American shores. And secondly, this was some the other animes in the early 80's and 90's that was butchered by the poor dubbing (i.e. Sailor Moon English version).
