Angela was amazing! she has such a unique look and an amazing voice! Alexis seems young and fresh, season 1 was definitely the best! So much talent unlike now!

I don't think so. Her diction sure isn't. Everytime Melanie sings the word "that", she makes it sound... exclusive. Look at the bit when she sings 'that' in "And I Am Telling You..." and her Audition of "I Will Always Love You,". Also, when she sang "You can say what you want I'm not walking out," she sounded like she was wingeing rather than being so pissed off when Jennifer Holliday sings it

Why are some people listed on here twice? And Melonie Sanders looks like a young version of Omerosa. And I agree..she screams more than sings. The only other thing is I wish it said which seasons they were from.

I based it on performances, so thats why some people, got two performances in the countdown. Also....I said that it was the Top 26 Girl Performances from Season 1 and 2, perhaps you didn't see it I guess.

I'll do that when I get the chance, cause I have to rummage through video files. Randy thought she ran outta 'gas' vocallyat the end, but overall it was great. Paula agreed, but said that parts of the song she "screamed" a little bit. Simon agreed with Paula, but said that Nikki has originiality and one of the stronger contestants, and she should get through because she deserves to.

Angela Peel really should have made it to the finals in season 10, she did well in both of her performances.

I thought Alexis Lopez was definitely the best besides the girls that got in... She actually almost sounds better than Kelly, who sounds like she is SCREAMING in her performance.

Yeah, Alexis was my favourite out of the girls during the Semi Finals. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed that she didn't get through (She had the fourth highest votes, followed by Angela Peel).

Angela did well in "Run to You," Either she or Alexis should have gotten in instead of A.J. Justin wasn't THAT great that night, but he was so hyped up in the previous episodes.

No, not really. I mean, I guess Kelly isn't really "yelling" but that song is an octave too high. She needed to take it down because it sounds like she's straining.

Yeh, that seems to be true of a lot of singers on that program who win. Often it's like they're trying to out "yell" each other.

I prefer un-straining (is that word?) voices

and maybe bump it up a bit at the end of the song. Of course, it depends on the song choice, too!
