  • Does anyone have a copy of Les' appearance with Thank God you're Here! + Golden Girls + Sex and the City? I've always loved the chemistry that Kim Cattrall and the late, great Rue McClanahan had when they worked together, and I can't wait to see what hijinks they all get up to when Les' patented lightning in a bottle is added into the mix! Call the undertaker folks, I think I died and went to comedy heaven!!!!!

  • @PRCShanghai that's nothing, you should have seen Les when he performed with the cast of the Simpson's, I almost died of a brain aneurism laughing so violently. I'll try not to spoil anything, but Homer suspects Les is made out of chocolate, ZOMGROFL!!!

  • Passing groupie?!? I may not have have a fancy degree in humorology like some swellheaded braggarts in this comment section, but that doesn't make me any less of a diehard McGehee fan. I earned my improv cred on the grimy back streets and litter-strewn parking lots of life, one racially charged joke at a time. And I did it with nothing more than a dog-eared copy of "Plays Well With Others" and a burning desire to make people guffaw. So you can take that Club Med discount and SHOVE IT acmu999!

  • I just got waitlisted at the Les McGehee HumorMBA program. I was wondering if anyone had some tips on how I could raise my score on the GLAFF so I could get in next year? Right now my improv skills are stuck at playing wood chippings, I need Les' pioneering methods to take me to that next level where I can perform as a block of wood, or, (do I dare to dream it??), an explorer.

  • @PRCShanghai, when it comes to improv, it's important to know the limits of your abilities! (one of the first tenements of "plays well with others") Baby steps padawan learner... I know that after seeing a master like Les weave his comedic magic it inspires you run in full tilt, but you have to understand he has been on television and on radio. Get comfortable with 'pulp' before you go full 'wood block' and maybe one day you might just have your accolades sung by the Rebecca Review.

  • As a proud graduate of Les McGehee's HumorMBA program, I can tell you that brocktooon is nothing more than a passing groupie. My HumorMBA may not be recognized in 11 countries, but it's good for a 10 percent discount at Club Med (one of the many companies that won't stop inviting Les back!). Les' comedy is deep, personal, and intimate in a way that can only compare to what I imagine making love must be like. Anyway, brocktooon, feel free to PM me for the head-in-a-box video.

  • Oh happy days!!! Long time Les McGehee fan here. I started to delve deep into his canon after seeing he had won the Fairborn Public Library Readers Choice award 3 years running. He is nothing 'Les' than a comedic deity (see what his instruction can yield?) "Funny" *yawn* is for mere improv peons. Sir Les is HILARIOUS, not to mention unique... and personal! Just look at that Peabo Bryson reference! Zany AS WELL as topical. I just wish we had a video of his famous head-in-a-box bit...
