It is sad to see that the media dug its claws into this family and literally ripped it apart. It's a shame that we always want to know more about what's going on in someone else's life. If it weren't for the media always hounding them I think they might not have filed for divorce. Kate has tried alot to make Jon happy, but unfortunately there are people that no matter what you do for them they will always be unhappy because they choose to be. If it seems like Jon doesn't know what he's doing its because most men don't know what the hell they're doing with one kid, let alone 8. No man worth the hair on his balls is trained on how to take care of kids. Men are raised to go to school, compete, and work. That's it. The wife has to show him patience or he comes to resent not only her, but the kids as well. She is a ghetto-ass bitch to him and hence he despises not only her but the kids now too for making his life miserable.

The show is so depressing now. i think they need to deal with their marital issues privately out of the spotlight for a while. You don't treat your guest like that.

The show is so depressing now. i think they need to deal with their marital issues privately out of the spotlight for a while. If they are going to stay together, don't do it for the money but do it for the sake of the kids by seeking marriage counseling to mend their differences or divorce as civilly as possible.

I understand why everyone thinks they should stop the show, but think about it this way too... the show is probably the reason they can afford everything for the kids. I know it's got to be financially hard to raise eight kids and take care of all of the bills and everything. The show is allowing the kids to live the best life possible. The show will probably end soon anyway since they are getting older.

I love this show. the kids are the cutest. 2 of them even look like my sister's future step daughters. I hope jon and kate can work everything out. people should leave them alone. it's not our buisness it's theirs. And yes kate does treat jon alot but if anyone else noticed kate tries to talk to jon but he ignores her and is kinda being rude. Anyways they're going through a hard time and I hope they can work it all out for the poor kids.And even their familys should butt out i find.

I think the money that they have they have earnt its not easy having cameras in your house day in day out, people commenting on it are only jealous, Kate is very Thrifty she saves her money on shopping, doesn't let the children ruin things so she is not having to replace things day in day out.

Jon likes the money just not the paverittzi, he drives an expensive car. I think he is just tired of Kate's nattering. And I am sure alot of their friends have told Jon not to take all the nagging. He probably watched himself on tv and felt like an idiot for taking it all. Like he said, his Mom said he can make the choices. He has made the choice not to take the nagging anymore. as soon as they moved to the new house you can see the change in their relationship. Jon doesnt seem like he enjoys being there anymore or with the kids, and Kate just complains about everything. This is either a very well thought out and planned media stunt to renew interest in the show for the upcoming season or a very sad turn of events for this family. What would YOU do to keep a 1.1m dollar house, college scholarships for all 8 kids, lots of money and fame?

To lollipoplemonade If you have been following this show for 4season with your eyes open you would see the Change in Kate. the yelling , criticise, She don't let him finish a question, etc.. plus she complains about the kids. people get tired of her complaining. Table for 12 couple don't act like that on interviews. Don't complain about there kids and they have 10. or the Show 18 and still counting. Emeril is there guest. You don't treat your guest like that.

but as the media has said, it's a two-way thing. but Jon doesn't show good parenting as Kate IS controlling but she's a mother none-the-less.
