Its not all confusing... MGS4 actually told you everything.... how The Boss and Big Boss came about... How Big Boss had his DNA cloned and how Big Mama took care of Liquid and Snake, How Ocelot came about and Raiden and Solidus it goes deep into the story through the game

MGS2 brings Raiden and Solidus into the story.. its a good game and yes you get naked but he hides everything and you are only naked for a very small portion of the game so its not THAT big of deal.

i wanted to get 4 cuz there all really good. anyway i still think game play just outranks story. because stroy is what keeps you playing a game the first time, but the game play keeps you playing the game through the next 10 times... or whatever
