  • @RobTheMonk8

I am a more active atheist now than I have been in years (for political reasons); however, at the same time, I am trying to leave behind the jail/jailor paradox of my Christian upbringing--an upbringing that as often led me to rail against Christians. I would eventually like to be indifferent toward the whole matter and argue from pure reason but I have a ways to go.

  • Militant atheists are as bad and idiots as fanatic religionists, If you want to convince somebody that his ideas are wrong don't make fun of his faith/opinion or w/e and don't use sarcasm, and it's like a pimple the more u do sarcasm the more they dug in into their shells. Quite predictable failure are militant atheists, since a well educated person Will/Shall Not be a militant of any type, atheist or not.

    Peace trolls

  • Very well said, more atheists need to recognize the importance of being public and exposing our real numbers. There'll be no opposition to the rising theocratic desires of the zealots if we don't know our real numbers, or more importantly, if those in government don't know our real numbers.

  • support you till the all stupid people wake up

  • a magic baby sent here by the sky wizard on a suicide mission

  • To answer your question sir, because if these people are foolish enough to dedicate their lives to serving their imaginary friend: They will not be able to comprehend anything you say in contrast to their beliefs. They will not care what you say. They will not stop their violent behaviors. Your anger with them is ignorance in itself. They can not help being stupid any more than you can not help being smart. You are thinking too far into it. Be happy you understand. Hope in time we all will.

  • I confront people on religion all the time, and dare I say it that I win most of the time. But their idiotic minds revert back to believing the same stupidity they denied when arguing with me.

  • @sugreev2001 They always do! You win a point and they revert to "oh well erm yes well in the bible..." or "well I BELIEVE in it and that is what my faith tells me" etc my personal favourite response from the religious is "I have read all about the science and consulted different stories but I STILL BELIEVE" to which I say well either you didn't read it properly or it speaks volumes of your intellect. You can't read the science and understand it RE evolution and then deny it is real.

  • Keep up the good work.

  • thanks for this video. i share all your views and i myself am an outspoken militant atheist. keep up the good work

  • Love it !

  • Fuck yeah man. Couldn't say it any better.

  • As to types of atheists, I think there's a spectrum, as with many other things. I have no problem with what you say here. I at least figure that there may be hope for less-active atheists. Many are new to it and finding their footing. The people who bother me are outright hostile and given to using 'fuck you' consistently as an attempt at argument. Of course, that type can be found on the fringes of any movement, as well.

  • Awesome video :)

  • I guess we need to make a survey again , just to show the world that we are not the minorities anymore ..

    peace & love

  • I too am a loud mouth atheist, and I don't care whether people like it or not!!!!!! "A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if no one believes it."--------------David Stevens

  • It' s good to listen and watch this vid from times to times... Today again, speaking about the abuses of islam in my country, France, I was considered a racist.

Religion is imposing more and more stupidities in our societies in the name of tolerance, yet our freedom of criticizing these dogmas is shrinking like snow in the sun.

Protect the stupids and silence the thinkers seems to be in the mood in Europe now. How sad.

  • Great message, great video. Wish some atheists didn't take it as a pat on the back for their inactivity. At antitheists trying to get any member up off their arses has and is proving difficult.. Too many are indignant politely, complaining without action. I prefer, even if chaotic opposition. So love this video it has become a mandatory weekly play at facebook/antitheists and can we use please the transcript on our blog for those with low bandwith. Thank you peace and respect.

  • @lowcoststart

    Of course :-D

  • @RobTheMonk8 Thank you good sir. :) That gave me the first smile of the day. 11.45 am Cheers .

  • My favorite thing about being an atheist is that when WE get "militant", nobody dies.

  • I shall fight for reason! Who stands by me?

  • Such as a terrible creature or thing to be wasted. Your soul...Because of your choice, I said your choice... "Christ" is the Authentic author of life.....Amen

  • @joancostello Pull the other one religious kid.

  • Why a militant atheist, is forced to "Obey" his material law on earth..? Simple, in his mind, he was an accident without a pre-universe explanations. He is forced to obey by his natural & above intelligence nature, everything he is. Such as every movement, acts, thinking, needs, etc etc. All what he is, is matter, with electricity, like a mechanism according to him. But he is "Slave" of his mind, his god, & the evolution that he owed his process as a child of a terrible Error...

  • If everything come from one single cell, the evolution. Then that cell had to be responsible, Yes, responsible because in our universe or nature, etc etc. Nothing is or happened without reasons, period. Next time you faced the law . Explain to an atheist judge, that whatever you did was a Random process. He will send you to jail, prison or death. For your ignorant scientific knowledge process. Militant go, face your law.. & late on tell me about ur random process. ..Amen

  • @joancostello kindly stfu.

  • You're just a bit more active than I am in confronting religion, though I do make a point to argue and criticize harmful religious comments, contradictions, and absurdities in daily life whenever they present themselves. I liked your video though and you made good points. By the way, you're one of the hottest atheists I've seen. :-D

  • @GayTempest

It's all lighting and ripped jeans, but thank you.

  • You also demand coherent definitions when you call God a Sky Fairy......you 'demand' coherent definitions when you call religion a delusion. You tell people you're a militant atheist....then you wait for them to respond so you can claim you didn't bring up the debate in the first place....but now you're going to shove your beliefs down their throats in the same way you hate having it done to you. No one likes overzealous religious nuts, you fall under that category with your militancy.

  • @kittiem

Clearly you were only paying attention to the internal narrative you dubbed over the video... whatever suggested to you that I "claim I didn't bring up the debate?" Truth be told, I don't CARE how the debate is brought up.

I post videos which people can view at their discretion; which they can shut off at any time..."Shove?" "Militancy?" Google those words: you do not understand their definitions or their proper use. You see, the meaning of a word is important. No, really.

  • I'm not going to tell you what I believe on a spiritual basis...let it suffice that I am not Christian, or Catholic, nor do I practice any other monotheistic religion you can name, I really don't practice any religion you can name, so don't try to argue with me. I just find it hilarious that you say in this video that you 'wait for it to be brought up' when really, you babble about your beliefs in the hopes people will argue so you can prove them wrong, when you really can't even do that much.

  • @kittiem

Yes, I demand coherent definitions (otherwise you're speaking a load of gibberish)... and you explicitly shirk the challenge, claiming the very position-less immunity you condemn me for. Even if you were right, and it's all a ploy to bait people, it'd be a damned sight better way to begin a discussion than "I refuse to define my position in a contrived effort to prevent any criticism of it- so don't even bother!" Helpful. Thoughtful.

And, try me. Care to see what I can prove to you?

  • This is a fatal product of a theory that can`t be real... It is a miscarriage of the evolution. So atheist that is fighting against his mind. If God doesn`t exist to him. Why he talks about it... A real atheist will never get into religions, or any god. . He will be so intelligence that there is no time for invisible energy through his flesh & mind. ... But the evolution of all religions didn`t come from religions. it came from the same evolution, because there are no gods... correct.

  • @joancostello

Clear as granite. Thanks so much.

  • @joancostello Atheists speak out when they see the horrors of this world as a direct result of religious actions....thus an intelligent person would not sit back and allow such idiocy to roam free unchallenged in society.

  • @SelfPromoting There are 613 commandments, you might want to read that bible of yours.

  • @SelfPromoting haha jesus loves us but will have us burned and tortured for an eternity if we don't love him back. What an asshole.

  • You are lampooned as being militant because as you have pointed out yourself you choose to be prejorative and sacreligious. Making no moral demands on people doesnt make you noble, it makes it ignoble, and a moral coward.

  • @havock89

Well, I never said that I make no moral demands on people; I never said doing so would make one noble. Wherever did you hear me say that? Right; nowhere. As for cowardice; I choose to face the world as it is without the happy delusion that there's a benevolent fairy in the sky in charge of it all who wants to do me favors if I can just tithe enough or just suppress my natural sexual urges enough or just chop off enough of my son's foreskin.

  • @RobTheMonk8 And I choose to face the world as it is without the unhappy delusion that there is no god.

BTW i dont believe in a benevolent fairy (more prejorative terminology in leu of an actualy argument) And I dont believe god wants to do me favours, and I dont want to chop of my sons foreskin.

As it stands you have gotten everything wrong so far. Is therefore "militant atheist" some new way of saying congnitive dissonance? Or do you just enjoy making stuff up about people you hate?

  • @havock89

Actually, the pejorative* is not in lieu* of argument, because I've got more than two dozen videos predominantly composed of arguments. That my every breath and every spoken word isn't an argument isn't evidence that I can't produce one; of course, it would apply to trolls like yourself, as well.

Unfortunately, unlearned one, I didn't make those up, those are actual behaviors that religious people think contribute to their goodness in the eyes of the lord. Who said it was about you?

  • @RobTheMonk8 Then dont apply them to me, sparky. That's what you did and that makes you prejudiced.

    Tata!

  • @havock89

Ah... apparently you're new to English? Because that's not what I did. And no, actually, that' not what the word "prejudiced" means. Look it up.

  • @havock89 I love how you are claiming he applied anything to you specifically. It's almost as funny as Ted Haggard being outraged at Dawkins for stating evolution is real, and claiming Dawkins called his children animals.

  • @havock89 "and I dont want to chop of my sons foreskin."

Then you're rejecting the covenant..good job on sending your son to hell! Well, that would be a concern, if hell wasn't imaginary...

  • @jesuriah Which covenant? there was more than one and each changed mans relationship with God. You see you obviously dont know what you are talking about. Baptism is the new form and sign of the covanent, fortunately ignoramuses like you have no teaching authority.

Howmany more idiotic ideas do you have about Christianity? Nevermind, I dont want to know lol.

  • @havock89 Lulz, I think you missed the part where Jesus said all of the old laws still applied. Good job, you're picking the part you want to remember while forgetting the part that makes your stance contradictory.

  • @jesuriah No sparky, you dont get he was talking about the Law of God being the Ten Commandments. You are referring to levitical law. So my stance isnt contradictory, you are simply ignorant of how Catholicism ACTUALLY is and you present is a gross caricature of Catholicism. The catholic church produced the bible, the bible didnt produce the catholic church. So what YOU divine from those texts is irrelevant, for you have no teaching authority.

Another thing to add to the list of your errors!

  • @havock89 "you dont get he was talking about the Law of God being the Ten Commandments."

No, that's not what he was saying. Have you even read Matthew 5:17? Q.E.D. you're wrong.

"The catholic church produced the bible, the bible didnt produce the catholic church."

I wholeheartedly agree. So few people know of the Council of Nicaea.

"for you have no teaching authority."

Who has authority to teach mythology? It's not like priests are required to have a degree or anything.

  • @jesuriah Again your gross misrepresentation of the catholic church, is exposed. You acknowledge that the chruch produced the bible and then disagree in the interpretation of our own book. You are logically inconsistent. Your litany of mistakes are now publically exposed. Well done, but dont let the door hit you on the way out.

  • What a great Video, All i have is a quote. "Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful"

    ~Seneca~

  • It's sad to see atheism evolve into this: an individualistic meaningless label. Why is atheism a meaningless label? What makes it meaningless? Just as if i would call my self jesus and everyone would call themselves jesus without behaving like or thinking like jesus. Jesus would loose his meaning. Most 'Atheists' these days seem to focus on the social aspect of atheism. "how atheism defines them as person or makes them different than others" instead of actually dsicussing science and philosophy.

  • This self serving ego-ism has to end. Delusions are harmful. What about the delusion that atheism is some sort of test to see if anyone is clear of delusions or is delusional. Atheism is not the answer to anything. Being able to accept atheism as a meme does not make you smart or better than others automatically. It's just a label anyone can carry. Yes discuss atheism and god. That is one of many meaningful discussions. Discuss the universe, discuss arguments. Don't be proud of knowing better.

  • @Qualiamusic

    Agreed.

  • @Qualiamusic I agree too, with one qualification: Religious indoctrination is probably doing much more harm than atheism ever will

  • Psalm 14 & Psalm 53

  • I love it. May I translate and use your transcript?

  • @judecas13

    Of course. Into what language?

  • @RobTheMonk8 Slovak. Maybe Hungarian later. Just bought the ateista.sk domain, have to bring it to live and start putting content on it. Thank you

  • @judecas13

Cool, give me the link when you have it up and running and I'll link to it.

  • @RobTheMonk8

How multicultural! Nah...I'm posting this because I've had two glasses of prosecco (yes, only two). Go team atheism!

  • SO AN I

  • thank you. i am an xjw...

  • I see in your profile that you describe yourself also as an Agnostic... Please I have a question, try to be a bit objective about this, if you were a person looking at your words, deeds and attitude, would that person say you were living your life as if there were no God? Or would they say you did not know?

Also, how do you feel about Agnostics that claim the question of God is unknowable? Do you agree with Dawkins that we are cowards?

  • @AMilitantAgnostic

Agnosticism is to do with epistemology, atheism is to do with belief. For most gods my knowledge and belief coincide, but there are other hypothetical god concepts which are deliberately designed to be unknowable or undecidable questions: on those I am an agnostic and can profess neither belief nor disbelief though- in practice- disbelief is what you see.

It isn't cowardly if your views are dictated to you by your interpretation of the evidence rather than by fear.

  • Comment removed

  • @RobTheMonk8 You mean, god's that are more like phylosofical concepts than divine entities? Like the Nature-God of Spinoza?

  • Well done! Personally I prefer Fundamentalist Atheist..

Your final point is the best..Why are more of us not speaking up..

  • @jreid196729

See my video on fundamentalist atheism: "Non-Contradiction Fundamentalist!"

  • Thank you for posting this......people have done a lot of things to make me scared of discussing religion (though I really enjoy it) and I think this has really comforted me.

  • We are at war with ignorance, those of us in the side of reason need to fight harder!

  • What about Stephen Hawkings and Albert Einstein? They think there's something out there.

  • @lml8908

No, they don't (didn't). Not that it matters; they could be wrong, atheist or theist.

    So... what about them?

  • @RobTheMonk8 They are the master’s of how the universe works. I didn't say that there were theists, but that they believe that there was something setting the rules of physics which lead to the formation of the universe. God, alien, smoke or whatever. The creation of life out of randomness itself which to some philosophers like Roger Penrose say it is so astronomically high that you’re more likely to be struck by lightning forty times on the fourth of July with snow.

  • @lml8908

You know, the fourth of July is a winter date in the southern hemisphere... just saying.

  • @RobTheMonk8 ahah! sure. And forty is 0.12 in southern hemisphere... just saying...

  • @paralaks

    Ummm... what?

  • @RobTheMonk8 lol

  • @lml8908 You are correct! You may want to google Einstein and Faith article which will take you to Time magazine where Einstein explains why he is a believer -even religious. "But throughout his life, Einstein was consistent in rejecting the charge that he was an atheist. 'There are people who say there is no God,' he told a friend. 'But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views.'"

  • @paralaks

The debate over Einstein's views on god is long, boring, and not nearly as clear cut as you'd like to insist. Most importantly, though, it's irrelevant. Who gives a shit whether Einstein was an atheist or a theist? If he were a socialist, would it mean all other views were therefore wrong?

  • @RobTheMonk8 I don't care much about Einstein's boring views on God. I find the questions he is raising interesting, remarkable and they deserve to be answered. Having said that I don't need Einstein's view to raise my own questions. Any other questions?

  • @paralaks

The only question he raised was, "What about them and their religious views" The only proper response was,

    "What about them?"

It was neither remarkable nor worthy of a response greater than to point out its irrelevance.

One question though, how much more trolling do you think it's reasonable for me to tolerate before it's reasonable to ban you?

  • Comment removed

  • @RobTheMonk8 if your stupid "I am cute pet" video had not tried to connect faith/religion with people's own choices he would not need to raise that question. Of course he did not know you are the guy who believes darwin, marx, lenin, stalin shared same thoughts because of their mustaches. The only reason I run into this stupid video is I subscribed back to an atheist since I wondered why he would have subscribed to me. Now I know he does not understand a shit of my channel! Ban if you like..

  • @paralaks

I'm not subscribed to you, the video doesn't discuss such connections, you misunderstood the point about mustaches (and everything else your feeble intellect touches) and you're now banned. You contribute nothing, you're ignorant both of the substance at issue and the language used to communicate it and clearly put no effort into your comments, your responses, when substantive, are banal and usually answered by the very idea you're critiquing. So, deal- banned. You're the third ever.

  • I prefer not to even be thought of as an athiest as that term does not go far enough. I reject all forms of mumbo jumbo, superstitious, unfounded bullshit. The belief in any god is just one of them. I don't accept the notions of ghosts and reincarnation. I don't waste my time listening to fortune tellers, and find zero use for, or interest in lucky charms and amulets.

But I don't feel need to thrust these views on others every day at every opportunity unless they are trying to convert me!

    .

  • @grahambkk

I agree: I am a skeptic and I am an atheist. I'm proud to be a skeptic.

  • I'm a "non-denominational atheist"

Atheism is non-denominational in itself, but unfortunately the Christians and Muslims have already fucked the meaning of the word to such a point that it's quite impossible to convince them that you have nothing to do with Stalin.

Even the word "Truth" has been gang raped by believers to the point that it has lost its meaning.

The word "Fool" used by Christians is full of dignity because it place a clear separation between atheists and their religious crap.

  • The things you said to describe yourself sound just like "me" ;-)

Although when people ask me about my religion, I tell them I'm a "Proud Atheist"...

  • @Velvetroomdj

Meh I always say I am a 'devout' atheist.

For the rest great vid and I totally agree.

  • Just for the record Christians do not have a religon. They have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • @TheBrainiacgirl98

    What a helpful distinction.

They have nothing like anything anyone would call "a personal relationship" with Jesus Christ; I have a closer and more meaningful connection to my dog than they have to their god.

  • @TheBrainiacgirl98 You do, but what about other denominations, are you going to pull a no true scotsman on them? They read the same book you do they just read it differently. And how can you have a personal relationship with a god? You cant even begin to understand how complicated such a being must be, what if its personal to you but different to the deity. Thats the problem when one speaks as the voice of many individuals, they dont have any idea what it means to the next person.

  • I would be an outspoken atheist too, if I was good at debating the topic of god. Sure, I know a thing or two from watching tons of video's about it, and reading a lot about it too. But...it just doesn't come out right when I talk about it myself. So instead I only debate when someone else brings it up to me. More a defensive than an aggressive stance. Then again, I live in the Netherlands, were close to half of the people are atheist already.

  • 4 all that I've been accused of it, I'm not this bad. If the subject comes up, I'll question them, sometimes aggressively, not letting them get by with making sh*t up, but that's in person. I'm a militant atheist on facebook and somewhat on youtube, I say argumentative things and often don't look @ the replies tho...mayb I should, but sometimes I'm not in the mood 2 argue. they're really 4 the next person reading anyway

  • This vid is win!

  • 'Militant atheist'? That makes me think of someone who fights against something that according to their own worldview does not even exist.

  • So a "militant" atheist is just someone rational, believes in the natural laws of science, dismisses fairy tales (God, Jesus, Allah, etc) and is not afraid to express their logical views?? I was just an atheist, but I sound more like a militant atheist because I do all the same things you mention in this video. Well I'm out, I got to go take my girlfriend to get her second abortion. Her stem cells are going to research to potentially cure terminal diseases :)

  • @thevoicoftruth1989 honestly, i may b atheist and liberal but mostly abortion still smacks of wrong. I think stem cells should b used 4 research if done but a pregnancy shouldn't b terminated if the life inside can feel pain, because it is of different genetic material, its not like cancer, and my morals r based on preventing pain and other negative emotions like anger, sadness, etc.

  • @cruelbusiness1984 I see where you're coming from and I respect your viewpoint. But stem cells require a dead fetus at times, and (atleat to me) life begins near actual birth. I have family members that could benefit from it, and that's why I'm so against pro-lifers/the religious Right.

  • @paralaks Communism is basically a (social) religion where a dictator is worshipped. Just look at North Korea, they pray to pictures of Kim Jong Il. Either way, the commies of the 20th and 21st century do NOT even come close to all the killings in the name of Christ (crusaders),Yahweh, and Allah. Besides, most major communist governments are all dead, but religious-theocratic governments run rampant all over the Middle East, beheading/stoning people for being gay and cheating on one another.

  • @thevoicoftruth1989 I was born in a country surrounded by socialist/communist and middle eastern countries and I strongly recommend you to keep your mouth closed and do a research first! Soviet democide killed 60+ million, Chinese 100+ million, deadliest war ever WW II (which was not a religious) 60+ million and there's more. No religious wars came close to these numbers. On the contrary, religion most of the time reduced the number of death toll in wars. Sorry, but you sound like white trash..

  • @paralaks Close my mouth in a free country? I'd rather die than surrender to pushy religious folks, sorry!! I could be black, or Arab by the way but I like your name calling. FYI I'm a humanist liberal though; I don't vote for the rich white trash party that pushes the Christian religion (fuck Bush, Reagan etc). Yes atheists commit atrocities, but not in the name of disbelief. H/E, Muslim dictators currently do.Sorry if you're Muslim, but their governments are murdering innocence as we type.

  • @thevoicoftruth1989 I say again: "I strongly recommend you to keep your mouth closed and do a research first!" At least read Marx... then you can reply your posts.. for sure! LOLZ!

  • @paralaks Marx? I'm not a Communist, but I'm glad you asked, for I researched Marx somewhat in college. He never killed anyone, he just wrote books and Lenin adopted some of his ideas, then others did as well. But Not every atheist is a Communist! All I'm saying is evolution is a scientific fact and we humans evolved from other animals, and weren't created from clay (Islam), and a women don't come from a mans rib cage (Christians). You're an immature fascist by the way. Religion = Zero logic.

  • @thevoicoftruth1989 You can't even distinguish words.. How can you distinguish ideologies, philosophies, especially scientific ones? "I say again: "I strongly recommend you to keep your mouth closed and DO A RESEARCH FIRST!" AT LEAST READ MARX... " I didn't say lenin adopted all his ideas, I didn't say neither lenin nor marx is atheism itself, I didn't say all atheists are communist, I didn't make any comments about evolution (which is a tautological tale by the way) etc etc etc. Period for u!

  • @RobTheMonk8 Go to view all comments page and search for atheist government and you will see it is chase14 who said it, not me. And you can not understand this definition can you: "State atheism has been defined as the official 'promotion of atheism' by a government, typically by active suppression of religious freedom and practice.. "

  • @paralaks I wanna live in a state of atheism, where is one? give me directions, please :)

  • @cruelbusiness1984 Too late.. your pals killed so many people that for a while the world will stay away from that. But maybe your grand grand children will experience it and hopefully it will be an extremely positive experience! LOL!

  • @paralaks

This is quaint. A christian complaining about the deaths of millions (wrongly laying the blame at a prescriptively inert belief) then, upon "assuming the moral highground" wrapping the whole thing up with "LOL." Somehow, one is left with the feeling that you're not so appalled by those deaths as you might have us believe.

  • @RobTheMonk8 Consider this: there is no god and evolution produces all that crap and this fact is so disturbing for an atheist.. That position is so funny that yeah, I accept, I can't even think properly at the ridiculousness of it! But at least, I believe those slaughtered millions will have a place better than they could get from this life, in the afterlife.. as a non-Christian.. whether I cry for them or not!

  • @paralaks

If, in your mind, that happy delusion abrogates your callousness, so be it. Best of luck, but atheism is in no way responsible for those atrocities, state atheism was one of many things promoted by those governments, and- even if it weren't the case- so? I'm an atheist because it's the most rational position, not because it's convenient.

You STILL haven't answered my question.

  • @RobTheMonk8 You think so... you don't accept answers.. you don't accept definitions unless you make them.. fine for me! Relax..

  • @paralaks

Would it be an issue if I prefer Spider rather than your preferred Batman or whatever ?

would you have serious problem, and go as far as bashing me or starting a bloody battle against me.

Why on earth do you think and atheist could care less if you believe in Mr Jesus, Santa Clause or Batman ?

Massacres are not done in the name of atheism, the threat to totalitarian leaders of any faith system, was the massive power of the rich churches over the minds and will of the people.

  • @saintpine I will simply call you an idiot and wish you good luck with your spider or batman or whatever if that is what you can understand from the concept of the creator. The rest of your arguments are easily negligible as you may have guessed..

  • @paralaks " idiot .whatever if that is what you can understand from the concept of the creator, The rest of your arguments are easily negligible.”

    Really sweetheart ?

I do understand that YOU do not put batman on the same level as a god.

But for an atheist, a god, batman, tooth fairy and santa clause are the same nonsense fairy tales. So you could never hate me for preferring Spiderman, I cannot hate you for preferring god.

Deal with it, it's hard to grasp, there is no other way around it.

  • @saintpine I don't need to hate you or put you into something else you are not.. The only difference which is to disappear when you die, between you and a pile of fertilizer is the amount and sequence of molecules. But I recommend you consider this: no matter how hard I tried to reread your sentences to see a 21st century scientific intellectualism, I could not see anything see beyond an idiot.. if you want to link that to your atheist stance.. fine for me, you little sweet bitch! lol!

  • @paralaks

You’re like a kid the shows the middle finger, it only makes me smile.

It's quite risky to behave like an asshole, there is nothing stopping the backfire, but I see you are already quite in crises, so I won't cause you any further stress.

I understand it must be quite shocking for you to discover that atheists cannot hate Christians for their beliefs, but shit, this would prove the bible wrong, so you need to work hard to create an enemy, to create Satan and to be hated.

    good job.

  • @paralaks

    cont...

An atheist can only hate your behaviour, so keep up the good work, you should be able to get someone to hate you and hence prove the bible to be true when it says that you will be hated like they hated Mr Jesus,

    good luck.

Everyone, please tell this kid that you hate him, it's for his good.

  • @saintpine You are just an idiot.. otherwise you would have understood I am not Christian. It takes a single click to learn more about me... You are just an idiot.. otherwise you would have noticed my other post pointing out "Einstein & Faith" article on Time magazine and realize why greatest minds of science are believers. You are just idiot.. because you have chosen to be so.. I guess. Hope you haven't lost your ability to choose better. Do I really need to waste my time with you? really?

  • @paralaks

Jesus or whatever, it's all the same crap.

Einstein was not a believer, but you prefer to believe he was.

At most he was a deist, but defiantly not a theist.

It doesn't change anything in my view; he never did any research on the issue anyway.

In a strong Christian society like the USA, it wouldn't be wise to be a non-believer.

Why are you hiding your religious beliefs, are you ashamed of it?

why don't you tell us what you believe ?

  • @saintpine "It isn't possible!" the skeptical guest said, turning to Einstein to ask if he was, in fact, religious. "Yes, you can call it that," Einstein replied calmly. "Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the discernible laws and connections, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion. To that extent I am, in fact, religious."

  • @paralaks

Translate this poetry in English and it means, the wonders of nature an the natural laws is my god.

He didn't believe in a personal god or Allah.

The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this.

    Letter to Eric Gutkind

  • @saintpine really? really? idiot.. looks like I have to disable youtube notifications for a while.. thanks to you!

  • @paralaks "really? really? idiot.. looks like I have to disable youtube notifications for a while.. thanks to you! "

I read that link, it takes only a dishonest asshole the courage to read that he was a believer, all over the article it was quite clear that he was not.

I don't need to call you an idiot or an asshole, it shines quite clearly.

You can disable notifications, I don't mind, the comments remain here anyway.

  • @saintpine I have no idea the link you are talking about and I am sure it is something stupid that suits your mental skills! The time article even mentions about the days Einstein practiced kosher! lol! I got an email notifying me you could not stop before commenting on my channel "Why don't you state clearly your religion on your homepage if it's so important for you? Are you ashamed of it ?" It is there idiot! I am laughing hysterically now! looooooool!

  • @paralaks sweetheart I'm referring to the "Einstein & Faith".

Only a dishonest asshole can come to the conclusion that he was a theist.

I still do not see you religion on your homepage, but really it doesn't make a difference, I don't have patience with this childish game, I see your qualifications, and I must say you are a disgrace, I really doubt you have studied in Canada.

  • @saintpine believe whatever you want.. you are the believer anyway.. lol!

  • @paralaks "believe whatever you want.. you are the believer anyway.. lol! "

I wouldn't laugh at your own jokes if I were you ? it doesn't make a good impression of yourself.

I haven't the patience to search for your religion, it's not written on your homepage details, you are obviously ashamed of it, and I can understand it.

Why are you so desperate to have a scientist prove that there is a god, you should know that most of them are atheists ?

  • @saintpine idiot...

  • @paralaks

I've been reading some of your comments here; you seem to be a Turkish Muslim.

How can you waste you intelligence on such religious nonsense?

Do you really believe a god would waste 23 years of his time to give a message to an angel that would then communicate with an ignorant Bedouin.

Why didn’t Mohammad learn to read or write in 23 years? this is disrespectful to waste gods precious time.

  • @saintpine You can not even google and find an article despite I have clearly provided the title. You can not even click on my profile and understand my religion. I guess now you have no choice but to accept that I have not been insulting you... period for you!

  • @cruelbusiness1984 Washington state I believe has the most ;)

  • "soviet democide"...

  • @paralaks

...? Playing with your politico-fridge magnet set or did some synaptic misfire lead you to type that arbitrary phrase as a response to my questions?

  • @RobTheMonk8 I guess you accept all of your actions are random synaptic fires. So, I am not surprised by your incapacity to grasp and link things..

  • @paralaks

So... I guess that's what passes for an argument among your kind? Let's hope you're never in a survival situation- I'd hate to see how your lot start a fire in a pinch.

  • @RobTheMonk8 All of your actions are random synaptic fires. Do your research first.

  • @paralaks

Well, apparently yours are- because all of your responses appear to be entirely disconnected from the questions: "What's your favorite color?" "Um... squirrel."

  • @RobTheMonk8 Squirrel is a good reply for a person asking "what is your favorite color" in the middle of a discussion questioning an atheist's ignorance about the most infamous atheist state ever existed, its democide (including holodomor in Ukraine) which killed as much -perhaps more according to worst estimates- people than world wars; and then, pointing out "I am a sweet pet" argument is nonsensical when used in the same context with barbarism of "some" theists. Ah, color question: moron!

  • @paralaks

Um, no retard... this discussion is about WHAT an atheist state IS, not the atrocities of a state you falsely believe to be founded upon the doctrine that there is no god. So, you might want to try that response again. I'll ask you again: what is an atheist state? "soviet democide" is not an answer to that question, you understand now? And, again, you might want to have a look at the video to which I referred you.

  • @RobTheMonk8 LOL! You reminded me the saying "the complete talk is told for the fool". Since you can not google or wiki I will do it for you: "State atheism has been defined as the official 'promotion of atheism' by a government, typically by active suppression of religious freedom and practice.. "

  • @paralaks

You never said "state atheism." You said "atheist governments." Those are two different ideas. A state which promotes atheism can do any number of things, from genocide to charitable work, without any of it being the result of godlessness.

Go watch my video, "Atheism and Atrocity" and respond THERE. That video is specifically about this subject, further posts along this vein on THIS video will be ignored... as you have ignored my repeated reference the video addressing this point.

  • @RobTheMonk8 kind of funny phrase isn't it? 'doctrine that there is no god.' that's like sayin, a doctrine that's based in reality as it is. hm...how unique :P

  • The widespread contention that god chooses sides in Grammy Awards, boxing matches, and NASCAR races, while there's no denying he consistently fails to intervene in cases of famine, genocide, and natural disasters is all the evidence needed that believers are alarmingly delusional.

  • @agus2001

    Flawless articulation!

  • @RobTheMonk8 Thanks, wish I could take credit for it, someone else came up with it, but it is 101% true>

  • @agus2001 the shocking thing is that there's more evidence that believers r delusional, gullible may/maynot b more accurate, its the word I use, gullible, wishful, and dangerous in many cases

  • I liked the music in the background... was the only smart thing in the video strangely..

  • @paralaks

Ya cut me real deep, Shrek. Ya cut me real deep.

  • @RobTheMonk8 I don't remember asking you your name. But I can understand why you need to advertise your so called humanity -remembering how atheist states killed dozens of millions starting with their own people and without a war...

  • @paralaks

Uh-huh... see my video, "Atheism & Atrocity: the impossible link" to see why you're full of shit. But perhaps you can be the first to answer a question I've had for a while: what's an "atheist state?" Because our government relies in no way on a god of any kind for determining its laws... does that make it an atheist state? I mean, it's NOT a theocracy... does that make it an "atheocracy?" (continuing)

  • @paralaks (continued)

You'll note that we turn to judges and legislators for our laws, not priests. This won't matter to you, of course, people like you tend to refuse believe that our government is founded on anything but Christianity. Though wrong, IF that that were the case, perhaps you could please account for this non-atheist-state's (whatever that is) role as one of the last western governments to ban slavery, or its treatment of the indians. Oh... were we an "atheist state" then?

  • @Paralaks

...what, you watched this one video and thought I was some sort of intellectual pussycat? If you'd paid attention you'd have realized that I LOVE thrashing people like you: religious people who WANT to argue and who think they're good at it.

  • He doth protest too much. w. Shakespeare

  • @rsturgison

He doth not "protest" at all; he merely disagrees. When religion excuses away or positively promotes barbarism and oppression, then I do more than protest.

  • Excellent! Very well put. :)

  • we know what militant christians and militant muslims are like, but what are militant jews like?

  • @AlekseyTimoshenko Why don't you visist an illegal Jewish settlement on the West Bank to find out? ;)

  • @Codex7777

I had a feeling that it had something to do with that matter.

  • @AlekseyTimoshenko well, think about it. If i were palestinian, I'd b p*ssed 2.
