Ive looked for a while for a pantera tribute and didn't find one. I thought america would be all over that shit but guess I was wrong. Now before anyone says something like "that's an insult" or "there's never gonna a tribute band worthy enough for pantera's kinda glory" or something like that. How do we know if we haven't tried? Thanks for the comments"peteandurnot" always good to hear from a fellow metal head.I was lucky enough to have seen pantera 14 times. 13 shows in the Los Angeles area and 1 in Las Vegas.Got to see Damage Plan 1 time in Hollywood.Ive always felt lucky to live within 20 minutes of Hollywood all the best bands come through on a regular basis its a metal heads dream

@rimbaud5150 hey smart ass you know how many times we saw pantera on tour in 1992 and 1993 in the los angeles area when they were on the vulgar tour i personally saw them 5 times and by the way if you werent at this show you have no idea how many pits there were all the crazies were in the pit.your sorry ass town probably only had 1 show,still have all the ticket stubs to prove it.r.i.p. dime

@placentiasteelers201 - I saw them twice in this Tour in Ireland (where I'm from) 2 great shows. I was gonna see them when they were due to start the Tattoo the Planet European Tour here on Sept 13th 2001, of course the events of 2 days previous postponed that and Pantera ended up pulling out. Sad I never got to see Dimebag again. Down always pay us a visit on their Euro tours so that helps. I'm a Bassist so I like good ol' Rex :-)
