I don't think the plane looks all that big. Is it longer than a 767 or 777?

No, according to a Boeing employee I met, it is shorter than the 777 and carries fewer passengers.

@liebsone engine spool? yes its an epic noise. Check out Trent Series and GE90-115b engine sounds, they grow on you :)

Ha ha that looks so bizarre to see the spoilers come up and then the nose wheel. That would be a good prank to play on a rookie First Officer in the simulator.

Wow, I love the sounds of those engines at idle, sounds like an RB211 with a really hollowed out sound. Seems like during takeoff the jetwash is louder than the actual noise generated by the engine. As much as I like the 1000's, I still miss prominent buzzsaw noise. Hopefully the GEnx wil have it?
