Takes me back over 20 years as a kid again. Makes me feel good. Thanks to great people that give a damn with Youtube's cooperation we can relive our past again & again.
My eldest son was born in '89..it's really cool to see these commercials again!! Makes me wish there really was a way back in time. Thanks and looking forward to seeing more!
You're welcome, and thank YOU. I have a few more ready, but YouTube is giving me problems when I try to upload them. Maybe by this holiday season they will be up.
That's the nicest comment I ever got. Thanks, man! Don't worry, I just dug up some more tapes, and if my job doesn't intervene too much, more videos will be up this summer.
My favorite part from his version was when the Ghost of Xmas Present got up in his face over the surplus population remark:
"So perhaps in the future you will hold your tongue. Until you have discovered what the surplus population is. And where It Is. It may well be that in the sight of heaven that you are more worthless and less fit to live than MILLIONS like this poor man's child!"
Other than that I also like the Alastair Sim version and the Patrick Stewart version.

The dude in the Maxwell House commercial looked kinda like Antonio Banderas.
McDonalds commercials used to be so cute and witty.
Loved Muppet Babies, PeeWee's Playhouse, and Garfield on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. :)

So other than Scott, who else did you like as Scrooge?
jsr121689 3 years ago
michael caine, kelsey grammer, patrick stewart, and scrooge mcduck were all very good runners-up.
RetroReese 3 years ago
George C. Scott is probably the DEFINITIVE Scrooge!
My opinion
jsr121689 3 years ago
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! Some came close, but he really gave the character heart!
