Ali, it wouldn't ruin your life if your friends knew, A boy from school saw me get my doll out of the car while he was getting off the bus and was talking to me with her in my hand. He didn't say anything & I told all my friends & it turns out most of them have them, & we didn't even know that. They said"Your ashamed of them?"& the most popular girl at my school plays with them. My neighbors friend is her friend and she wants her to come and play dolls with her all the time! & were 12&13.
I don't have friends round that much so Emily's happy on my toy box but I understand about not wanting friends to see them as I guess your 15/16 as lots of year 11s have exams over here in England so that's just my guess, and I personally think the new room is cute and with no new videos I had a chance to watch a load of the older ones :)

My tech teacher said in China they blocked Google with a firewall. It took "hactivists" (Hackers that are hacking in protest) less than a day to get past that firewall xD Anyways, I blacked out my channel as well. If SOPA is passed, I won't be able to watch any of my favorite shows since the majority of them ended 10+ years ago. Oh, and luckily my state became a Republican state a few years ago, so our representatives are likely going to vote against it. :D

I am lucky. First day I was at my new school (that was this year), I told EVERYONE about my dolls and YT, everyone respected it. No hate. I actualy brought my doll during spirt week, and dressed her up for the themes, no one coplained! Exept one girl came up to me and asked,"Aren't you scared of what people will think?" And I proudly said with a smile on my face,"No. I don't care what other people think. They can deal with it." The rest of the day, I felt proud. But some people get bullied. :(

@keonadot I don't think I should have to suffer through years more of torment and teasing when it could all be avoided if I just don't bother telling anyone. There's nothing wrong with not letting other people know you're personal business. I would be strong if I had to but I don't have to right now and I don't see why any of us should face that.

My tech teacher said in China they blocked Google with a firewall. It took "hactivists" (Hackers that are hacking in protest) less than a day to get past that firewall xD Anyways, I blacked out my channel as well. If SOPA is passed, I won't be able to watch any of my favorite shows since the majority of them ended 10+ years ago. Oh, and luckily my state became a Republican state a few years ago, so our representatives are likely going to vote against it. :D

The Obama administration, I believe, is afraid of public backlash so close to the upcoming election. They've been acting a bit weird lately. Obama recently asked Congress for more power...

I am lucky. First day I was at my new school (that was this year), I told EVERYONE about my dolls and YT, everyone respected it. No hate. I actualy brought my doll during spirt week, and dressed her up for the themes, no one coplained! Exept one girl came up to me and asked,"Aren't you scared of what people will think?" And I proudly said with a smile on my face,"No. I don't care what other people think. They can deal with it." The rest of the day, I felt proud. But some people get bullied. :(
