Reminds me of the super nintendo game Killer Instinct opening theme. If anyone is interested, just search for "Killer Instinct opening theme" without the quotes. Skip to around 3:10, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Great memories, great times.
i first got into the older post rock of gsy!be and mogwai, discovered hope of the states, now i have 2 say 65 days of static and explosions in the sky really do take the whole thing up another level. Could anyone recommed any other decent post rock stuff apart from red sparrow didnt massiveky like them.
russian circles is another, though they're halfway between explosions and sparowes. 65dos is really in a league all unto themselves, but for bands like explosions, there's El Ten Eleven, and If These Trees Could Talk. ITTCT is my favorite of those three, even more than Explosions.
I'm quite partial to Caspian, they put the ROCK in post-rock. But honestly, I'm borderline stalker-obsessive with 65dos now so everything else stands a rung lower at the moment.
iLiKE iLiKETRAiNS, but I'm not really sure you could consider them Post-Rock. Mono and GIAA definitely both worth checking out as well.
Notice the almost imperceptible visual flub at 00:23? looks like a group portrait or something. A JPEG inadvertently inserted into the visual perhaps?

Oh nevermind, figured out what it was. It's a flub in the fadeover from 'Fix The Sky A little'.
