A lot of people caused Quigley to fumble. That's the reason he's making the switch to linebacker. He's a good runner, and he's got power. But he couldn't hold onto the ball. That and he often had problems running too straight up.
Quigley will be playing LB this year. Fumbled the ball too often and ran too upright. However, I've seen him put similar hits like this on several guys. Quigley knows how to hit. Hopefully he can bring that to the LB position this year and flourish.

If your coach could spend more time focusing on game planning, instead of the cheapest buffet, you might win more games. It won't be "death on a football play", but it will be death by coach. Have you ever just "dropped" a football? How many times did it to go in a straight line for 3+ yards? NEVER! In order for that ball to travel the distance it did, in a straight line, it had to have been tossed or "thrown". If you watch the video closely, between seconds 0:12-0:14, you see the running back with the ball in his hands, then his arm extends and then the ball hits Gideon on the head. FYI-Footballs are actually round if you live in Europe.

Quigley NEVER got knocked out by anyone and the play you're talking about, Gideon's replacement hit Angus with everything he had and ended up going backwards on his arse, while Quigley merely got knocked sideways. Gideon on the other hand was out cold before he hit the ground.

There Offense should've stepped up and scored, but they didn't! Even though there was 3 PI calls, they still had 3 chances to stop TDs! They didn't. Result: Texas whoops that ass without running up the score.

A lot of people caused Quigley to fumble. That's the reason he's making the switch to linebacker. He's a good runner, and he's got power. But he couldn't hold onto the ball. That and he often had problems running too straight up.

Quigley will be playing LB this year. Fumbled the ball too often and ran too upright. However, I've seen him put similar hits like this on several guys. Quigley knows how to hit. Hopefully he can bring that to the LB position this year and flourish.
