This was a fantastic origin story film; ORIGIN story, not the full-on galactic battle movie. So, if there's a second film (hopefully) there will be more Lanterns and galactic battles. But either way, this movie was still good

@SkylightMoon92 The movie was missing it's whole second act. We are introduced to the threat/dilemma and then it's resolved. We don't get to know the characters on Oa, a planet that should have been the center of attention instead of Earth. Sinestro was underutilized...we see him taking the yellow ring in the freaking after credits scene without any warning! Before he just wanted to fight fire with fire, he didn't show any discontent over the GL Corps. Hammond was a bad villain pick too.

Superman was structured as a two-part epic and I get the feeling that that is what is in store for Green Lantern. And PARALLAX was the bad choice, in my opinion. I just felt he was WAY too huge for an origin film. Hector was perfect for an origin film. In the end, he ended up being decently developed except for his overall impact in the story. Though I did admit the overall script had faults.

I am not trying to be funny,but all you morons that think this dirty cat litter box of a movie was good need a check up from the neck up.This is 1 of the worst super hero movies I have ever seen.Renolds does nothing for the part the plot stinks the love story had no passion it might as well have been left out.The problem is hollywood doesn't get it they have decades of comicbook plots and charaters to choose from ,but they all ways take the short cut.They rely on special effects too much.

I really hope they make Green Lantern 2!! Green Lantern suppose to be a trilogy, but if they don't make enough money at the box office then they won't make another one  and this movie isn't doing as good as expected at the box office!!
