Interesting to read the conversation below. The points against or to disprove the existance of God remind me of myself as a young man. May I pose the thought that doubt is part of our inquisitive nature that seems to me a gift we are born with. Like all things we are given it can be a blessing or a curse. Doubt is a blessing if it is persued diligently with an open heart and an open mind. If not then inquisitive turns to cynical and like all good things it can be used against us.

so lets say that i'm sitting in a chair. and i come up with a theory that says there are invisible angels pulling me from my shoulders so that gravity (as it is pulling me down) does not make me break the chair and fall through it.

i can't prove the angels are not there. but, once i study gravity and my weight, i see there is no reason for the angels to be having to pull me up. physics explains everything, and although i cant be 100% sure the angels arent there, i dismiss the theory as false

1000's of near death experiences that confirm life after death (Heaven and Hell) aren't laughable. Many times a cocky atheist would die, and come back scared, and ready to repent. But not every atheist is so lucky.

Interesting! I have been Meditating on this for several years concerning the Trinity. I was reading Psalm 19 one day and began to see what the Trinity resembles. "He set a tabernacle for the Sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; Nothing is hid from the heat of the Sun."
