I am having trouble focusing. Tingling in limbs Insomnia Extreme mood swings Sudden flashes of extreme anger , Change in personality, not sure who I am anymore I feel out of control of my actions and comments.
Agitation - I usually have a lot of patience but lose it pretty quickly now
Headaches im not on meds either...any suggestions?
I had horrible panic attacks, then it submerged to high anxiety, Feeling spaced out all the time, hard time concentrating/memory problems, can't focus? And I'm really disoriented when I come out of these things too. I feel weak and lightheaded all the time. and sleep doesn't help (I don't have trouble sleeping). I can't concentrate, I feel like my eyes can't focus on things, I feel really disoriented, I can't think straight. i feel out of it…..its driving me insane…
This video made me feel better about some of the weird symptoms I have that I didn't even realize were tied in with my anxiety disorder, but had just attributed to other mental issues. Thank you!
Wow I thought the "out of body experience" was just me straight tripping. If I looked around a room sometimes the walls the whole place was almost cartoonish. I now realize it was me being out of touch with reality and out of touch with myself. Now I try taking even just two minutes to sit and face reality without being self conscious and self scrutinizing.
Very good video, and I'm glad all those things are now gone for you. I experience them all too frequently but I can't imagine life without it. I simply wish you all the best and am happy you've got through it. :)
You can get help. You don't need drugs. It is very hard but there is a way. Look up the CTSA (Center for the Treament and Study of Anxiety) at the University of Pennsylvania. Edna Foa is the director. What you need to do is make yourself find out exactly what triggers your anxiety and then expose yourself to anxiety filed situations so that you can retrain your brain to not stress out. It is very emotionally painful initially, within no time you will be back in control.
I have C-PTSD, or Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and am constantly anxious, hypervigilant and on edge. I am dissociative. I am an insomniac. I can not remember EVER feeling relaxed in my ENTIRE life. I analyze every thought, emotion, detail in my life; in myself and in others. My own thoughts, and the possibility of even *worse* thoughts, haunt me constantly. And yet, for all that, I would not chose to be anyone else, for this is my life and these are the lessons I am learning.
Hey everyone, I suffer from anxiety attacks. They scare me heaps whilst I try to drive to Uni, and I am afraid I won't be able to keep going right now. That said though, I do have hope and am a lot better than I used to be. I don't think there is enough information/help out there, and maybe WE as the sufferers could changes that? Maybe we could somehow unite. I have this dream of a sort of like anxiety disorder retreat, where everyone has help and support, maybe I'll make it happen oneday.
I've been diagnosed with Severe Panic Disorder at the beginning of 2007. I experienced all of the above symptoms and really struggled with the most minor actions, like drinking water from a glass, but the unreality feelings were by far the worse, it even got so far as me contemplating suicide as a way out.
Now, almost a year later I'm 99% anxiety or panic free. It took a lot of fighting and struggling when all seemed to be useless. The Anxiety and Panic Disorder can be cured. Never give up!
Wow,I didnt know that the feeling of unreailty like I was in a movie was from my anxiety, but I guess so. Does anyone else get weak legs after an anxiety? Like your going to fall?
Great video sir. Something I could always relate to. My first attack happened last week during an hour and a half drive back from business propspecting in a far away town. The false heart attack and adrenaline jolt were the main things....
(cont) I pulled into the first service station I saw and I scrambled to get 2 bottles of water and chugged them down quickly. When that first happened I thought all the fast food I had been eating had caught up with me.
Anyone have inner ear problems? Here's a suggestion: Get the book "Phobia Free" by Harold N. Levinson. get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson's work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic Attack free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly.
Thank you so much for posting this. It's so easy to feel like you're going insane from anxiety disorder, especially when those that don't experience it, just don't understand. I tell my friends I have anxiety disorder and they tell me to simply stop worrying. They've got no idea. Thanks for reminding me that I'm not alone.
I also have many of those symptoms. But I never knew that this acctually is anxiety disorder. But what's confuseing me is that there are suicidal thoughts but also fear of death. That can sometimes bother me.. But I noticed i have a social anxiety disorder too.. not so strong, but still..Anyway. I know how you feel, and you can always contact me.. hope you'll get better.
Hi demzma, Thanks for your comment, I obviously recommend you watching my videos from the start or at least some, to give you some insight on the issue. There are many people dealing with anxiety on our planet, each of us suffer differently as well as equally. Feel free to subscribe and contact me any time thru youtube or msn. All the best /JP
I have pretty much every single one of these symptoms. The chest pain I can't stand, and the fear of death cripples me. Thank you for putting things into perspective.
Hi tecnohunk, thanks for commenting ! Altough I relay want to mention that I think it's very important not to recommend any medication from personal experience, especially psychopharmaca related, as we all react differently to them and side effects can be many. I do however recommend at least two opinions from different clinques and doctors before one dose take any type of psychopharmaca.
What is the musical piece playing in the background of this video. Found it very soothing!!! Thanks for your video posts. I am only just learning that the symptoms I was experiencing were due to panic disorder, and will soon be entering CBT sessions. Glad to hear they worked well on you. I have something to look forward to...
Cool video... good to know that everyone experiences their own anxiety in a different way but alot of the things you've described I've experienced too. Thanx. I was wondering what your opinion was on the best way to deal with panic anxiety? I have recently been diagnosed and am trying to learn more about it.
The best way with dealing with anxiety is to learn all about it and learn that they will not harm you, kill you, change you or make you crazy etc. A skilled cognitive behaviour therapist "CBT" should give you the tools to understand and deal with any anxiety. The results: Less or no more abnormal axiety few or no panic attacks anymore. Its all about training. But it's so worth it even tough its challenging!
Wow....You are a brave man posting this.. You just listed up the problems im currently recieving help for....Good to know that im not alone.. Thank you!
