One of my best friends is Puerto-Rican, but we call him Boriken. He even looks more Native Indian than spanish, and could past for a lighter skinned Black man if his skin was a bit darker.
He refers to Taino culture as the real/original culture. He speaks spanish with a dialect, but is learning the Taino language and wants to speak only that and english one day. But he still likes to listen to the Puerto-Rican music mixed Taino, African, and spanish sounds/instruments/language.
@RADICALIfNecessary has he taken a DNA test? Apperance dosen't always mean ancestry. Half black half white individuals can sometimes look pseudo amerindian. The average puerto rican is 60% spanish
