  • Good film footage, but much of it was borrowed from the fighting on other islands.

  • change the music to this: /watch?v=wSGva04yOic

  • You should play Letters From Iwo Jima soundtrack on this plus most of this footage is really not from Iwo Jima

  • some of this is from okinawa

  • got to take a second and thank all these guys in war from our past for what they did,if not for them we just may not live how we do today, thanks and r.i.peace those men who did not make it....

  • The music still stinks.

  • i always wished we could have heard our guys back then, other then that the footage is great, and so is the music thanks for the video

  • The Japaniese buter think twice next time they try to attack us!

  • i thought you said better music :(

  • If we had these same circumstances now our troubles in the middle east would be over. The country back our soldiers, hollywood did wonders for raising morale, we had real Allies, no such thing as nato, or left wing journalist crying everytime a sillyvillian dies! Our troops did not need permission to kill the enemy! Most of all DC was not controlling everything from where a private pisses to do you have PID on the enemy or colllateral damges worries! For fucksake its war....or get out

  • @wheresyourchild i never said 17 year olds are smarter i said i'm probably smarter than this guy talking shit, i don't think he is going to run for president so your "points" have no point.. the 35 year old rule is there because they want people who have experience in Politics, did you really just asked why there isn't a 17 year old president? i can tell im talking to a retard, maybe because im not an adult, but hey look at the U.S even with 40 year olds this country is still shit hahahahahahaha

  • both americans and japanese forces fought well. Nuclear bomb was too much anway... especially droping it on a city with innocent civilans, sure the japanese had some military bases there, but still, if for example drop a nuclear on new york or something, u wouild be calling it terrorism, and when u do it u call it "war". LOL there is no diffrence, war overwall just shows that Humans are still too stupid/reatarded to sit down discuss and come up with a solution together.

  • lol i found that listening to Igor Presnyakov play Stairway to heaven worked way better than your default music.

  • @wheresyourchild Because 1st, you have to be 35 to be a president, 2. im not even an adult yet. 3rd. why the fuck would i want to be the president of this country? wtf!!!!!!! hahahaha

  • Medal of Honor Frontline music?

  • damn that matrix song is annoying.... I would´ve taken 1 Neo to take Iwo Jima. and one Chuck Norris to sink Japan...

  • is there a link of this footage without the shitty music added?

  • @BillyBadasssssss ever heard of a volume?

  • @davetileguy

Yes, I have read many. A claim you cannot make.

  • @BillyBadasssssss Whaaaaa?

  • @davetileguy

    I have read many volumes.

  • @BillyBadasssssss I was referring to your comment about the shitty music , not your reading material.

  • 5:39 I kind of feel bad for that guy. He got caught by the flames sticking his head up.

  • i hate when people put their damn logos to the movie

  • I'm sad that the Japanese were forced into a state of war due to the Americans. The kind of shit the Americans do to people is brutal, karma is gonna be a bitch America.

  • @vonKietz OK where do you get this from? You really must be biased because this is completely fals. Japan had been at war for more than seven yrs when it attacked Pearl. The US did not force Japan into war.

  • The japs hated those flame throwers. Thank god for flame throwers!

  • Dont forget, that the govt of Japan at the time was a military one brought about by a coup, that was headed by Tojo who became PM. He was a nut, he did not represent the Japanese people as a whole and most of their army were unwilling conscripts who dared not disobey. Japan had no idea what they were taking on when they attacked the US. They were naiive and paid a heavy price losing five times as many personnel as the US. Thanks to the sacrifice of those brave men.

  • These Marines had it tough! no body armor, poor weapons, but yet they still accomplished their mission.. Lost a lot of good men but they still moved forward.

  • @hardcorelifeforus000 Poor weapons?? Huh?

  • @Toddinfantry yes they had single shot rifles unlike the army, they weren't as equipped as the other military branches, do the research if you feel ignorant right now.

  • @hardcorelifeforus000 HA! Love guys like you. So tell me Mr. Smarty what rifle did the Corps use on Iwo? See ppl like you know just enough to be blind. The Corps used the Garand on Iwo, the single shot Springfield 1903 was phased out during the Guadalcanal battle, and most Marines carried the Garand at Tarawa...almost a yr and a half before Iwo. Others weapons employed by the Marines at Iwo included the M-1 Carbine (not single shot), the Thompson (not single shot), the BAR (not single shot).

  • @Toddinfantry They used the Garand, i never said they used the 1903 during Iwo did i? and it is true even during the Iwo Jima invasion Army was more equipped than the Marines... yes i know that idiot.. i never talked about other weapons just rifles.

  • @hardcorelifeforus000 Uhh?....."yes they had single shot rifles unlike the Army". Why the big reversal now? In fact, the Marines were as well equipped as the Army all through the majority of the war. No you never said the '03 in specific, but you said single shot...'03 was the only single shot rifle (actually bolt action) rifle used by the US before and during ww2. You don't have a clue do you? I appreciate your attempt at intellect, but you have missed the boat.

  • @Toddinfantry you are a retard seriously! i was talking about rifles not sub machines or machine guns i know the USMC had B.A.R's thompsons Carbines and all of that, Watch the movie The Pacific and think before you type bullshit that you dont understand. Marines have always been the underdogs of war but they were the best weather they had a knife or a gun. stop hopping on the Armys dick you gay twat and accept the fact that Marines even today are the less funded by the Government. GET OWNED!

  • @hardcorelifeforus000 I guess you are to stupid to even know what you wrote The BAR was a rifle, Browning Automatic Rifle. So, what rifle is the single shot rifle that you descibe and when was it used. Since you are sooooo f..n smart let's just work with facts. Here you are with the military knowledge of of an 8 yr old and trying to debate weapons with a professional. How much time you got in the Corps? "Owned" what are you in high school? The Marines are NEVER the"underdogs of war",con't....

  • Respond to this video... Con'tt.... even if we don't get all that the Army does. You don't think I know this when the Army had M1Abrams and we still M60A3. So back to the debate ...what rifle? You make a statement and now cannot back it up with any facts. From the end of Guadalcanal the Marines carried the same weapons as the Army and were equipped as well as the Army. This changed after ww2. Oh and the carbine is a rifle dipshit. You get all your knowledge from one movie? Figures.

  • Stop complaining, what are you trying to accomplish by bitching on the internet?

  • @MadeoOnTheRadeo what are you trying to accomplish with your comment? on the INTERNET! retard

  • I'm trying to spread the word to all the 7 year olds who think they know about history that their fucking stupid and that their arguing wont solve any problems. Who cares who was more equipped in WW2, it doesn't fucking matter, even though it is a fact that Marines get the shitty gear even today. My point is you'll spend a week arguing and you'll both wind up thinking "what a stupid fucking asshole, I'm still right." Nobody's mind is changing because of a few comments on youtube.

  • @MadeoOnTheRadeo 1st of all im 17 get your shit staright, 2nd of all you are here putting more fuel on the argument retard so stfu, 3rd i care who was more and better equipped during WW2=the reason why i wrote the comment in the first place, so what is YOUR POINT? cause you haven't made one except for the fact that when it comes to proving your points or trying to prove a point you fail miserably.

  • Oh of course...your 17 bitching on youtube about The Marines and what weapons they carry around when IN FACT, you would have no fucking clue. Because your 17. Like I said, after someone ignores your petty insults your going to think "Hmmm i sure showed him" and he's gonna think "wow what a retard, I still think I'm right." And your answering a perfectly logical statement (me) with a *clearly highly educated* barrage of insults. So who's the retard again?

  • And no...I proved my point without spewing out myriads of "intelligent" insults that so obviously occupy the brain of a 17 year old intelectual such as yourself. (sarcasm.) Clearly if you have the time to comment for over a week about WW2 Marines who would be disgusted at the fact of a 17 year old wasting his summer before college to bitch and moan about what they carried when in fact all you have to go on is the history channel then you have no social life...as a 17 year old...

  • really? like all you just said is the most retarded thing ive ever read. Here ill clarify all the things you "accused me of" The brain of a 17 year old is the same as the 40 year old if not smarter since i just graduated high school with high honors and a scholarship to UW Madison. I check my youtube account everytime i wake up thats why ive been here writing comments for the past week, the question is why are you commenting back? all you said just backfired idiot. how do you know im not social?

  • 1st thank you for your life story, it *truly* changed my mind about you...I'm gonna go ahead and ignore you now, I said what needed to be said. So enjoy cyber wars with people you've never met!

  • @MadeoOnTheRadeo what you needed to be said really didnt need to be said because everything you said was completely retarded. I WIN you LOSE. peace.. again you were part of the cyber "war" so stop being a hypocrite

  • The music is from Medal of Honor good choice

  • i love how some people feel that war atrocities were only committed by the "other side" during wars. Im American and shit, some of the stuff done in the middle east is not better. How would you react if you knew you were one of the last bits of resistance left between the enemy and your homeland, where your families lives could be at stake? war is bad period

  • man most of this clip isn't Iwo Jima - and what's up with the dj, bad mixing.

  • US soldiers who abuse prisoners are punished when caught. They are the rare exception not the rule. Good soldiers will report soldiers who abuse the POW. That is the way it should be. There HAVE been Americans prosecuted for abuse so that should prove the US does NOT approve of it. Abuse is NOT taught to soldiers.

  • Hey all you guys defending the behavior of the Japanese, and putting it down to some noble warrior ideal, you probably haven't lived in Japan. I have lived there for over 23 years and I can say with authority that it's just in their nature to be malicious, miserable cunts! They have a mean streak in them that keeps them fucking with people even now in peace time....sure not all of them are like this, but enough to be able to make this generalization!

  • @psydwaindah Hey man, calm down. That was another generation than us. they had there ideals. Its like all over the world, we are the generation that sucks. And that killing P.O.W`s, every nation is doing this, every time in every war. No soldier/warrior, has a white vest, when he(she comes back from war.

  • @ThePandoraGuy dood, I'm quite calm.......my point is that it wasn't just another generation. The very same mentality that spawned the behavior of WW2 Japan is still very much alive and kicking here today. Have you lived here? I still do...i see it everywhere! it's institutionalized; insidiously warping the minds of the young! even my son comes home from school with his head full of shit thanks to the official state version of war history. japan, unlike Germany, is still in full blown denial

  • @ThePandoraGuy No, i wasnt there. But, all Problems aside, i want to visit this country, not in the next years. But sometime. Yeah, in Germany, here, we had a clear sight, what happens 70 Years ago, its like the Damokles Sword, hanging over our head. But, back to topic. Japan has a rare kind of mentality, they try looking forward, what happens behind them, are only Storys and Legends. That is that what i think about it.

  • @ThePandoraGuy dude you must live in a very backward part of Japan to see that as your general impression. Don't forget it was the Japanese that swore never again to have an armed force to avoid ever being an aggressor on the world stage. As it goes, EVERY nation has the potential to be brutal toward an enemy. Violent abuse of captives has gone on in every fighting force ever, the fact that you're subject to American, British, European, NATO propaganda will always mean you get a lopsided picture

  • @ThePandoraGuy..., don't believe everything you hear. The Japanese soldier of WWII was brutalised to become cruel by their own leaders, added to which they worship their emperor as a God, a pretty explosive combo, but it doesn't make them any less human or less capable of kindness, love, compassion or empathy. It all depends on what you're taught or subjected to. If you were born a Japanese male in 1922, you would have been exactly the same. wake up and smell the coffee.

  • @pitmungki Ups, there i made a little answer Fail. And Coffee, no. never. And when im a japanse i did the same, exactly.

  • @pitmungki Very true...Outstanding!

  • Slick volcanic ash was what met those Marines when they first went ashore, no traction. The Japs were dug into the terrain where they couldn't be seen, then came out at night to terrorize. The Marines were like come out and fight face to face. Very tough struggle.

  • 5:38 is that a guy roasted alive by flame thrower?

  • There are parts of the video that is not Iwo Jima...is in Okinawa and other islands, also in North África, anyway, very good video

  • Big UP to the USMC for their amazing fighting spirit. As per the Japanese, people got to cup the crap. Their were soldiers and they were doing their bid for their country. Much Respect. If we fight against all odds and take and impossible assaults we are bold and committed. If they sit in their soil and fight to the last we call them fanatics? What's up with the double standard? Soldiers are soldiers, all deserve respect.

  • 4:39 (insert A-team music)

  • My Dad was on Iwo Jima from the first day at age 21 as infantry replacement and could see both flag raisings after he was sent to Guam already under US occupation and while there brought in Japs who had surrendered from the jungle and also guarded prisoners He said the guys who abused the prisoners were mostly scumbags to begin with He said almost all the prisoners looked like scared kids I know he lost buddies and so too many Marines That's just his take he passed away in 2007 Semper Fidelis

  • AMERICA!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!! HERE TO SAVE THE MOTHAFUCKEN DAYYY!!!!

    (team amereica)

  • @iDkWat2 well said.

  • The commanding general on Tarawa said it would take a million men a thousand years to take his island.

It took 2nd Mar Div, 76 hours.

  • @USMCM249gunner When you need to kill one man in a house, send the SEALs. When you need to kill a few thousand men on an island, send the Marines!

  • @USMCM249gunner because the Japanese back up army did not arrive to help out the defenses

  • @USMCM249gunner ... " a hundred yrs". Semper Fi Marine!

  • @USMCM249gunner HOOORAAHH!!

  • @USMCM249gunner That sounds like Jarhead propaganda. American Patriot is synonymous with jackass. Most of you Marines are a bunch of homosexuals.

  • @USMCM249gunner really?

  • better music??????.....not....

  • Some good Iwo scenes but most of this is a mish mash of any number of WW2 battles....Okinawa, Saipan, Tarawa. Folks...there were NO palm trees on Iwo Jima.

  • war is a bitch and doesn't matter which is your country you can't be proud by something like this

  • @Chaverri691 they did what they had to do

  • whats with the horrible music.

  • I'm glad the Japanese didn't make it off of that island alive good riddance, the kind of shit they did to P.O.W.'s was brutal, karmas a bitch Japan

  • @crazyguy47 perhaps the japanease was was brutal,, indeed they was,, but so are you with the P.O.Ws yoy take today m8,, look at gutanamo bay ? long live julian assange for showing us what kind of country america is, long live anarchism !

  • @93Death1 Torture is wrong but however, I disagree with your rather biased statement. One of the many brutal forms of torture that the Japanese performed on the Allied POW's was that they would remove the prisoners genitals, place it in the POW's mouth, then sew the POW's mouth shut. Big difference from waterboarding don't you agree? I am not advocating torture but you are comparing a firecracker to a stick of dynamite.

  • @raz3rburnify but if you look at the vietnam war, the americans shoot different persons before their familly members eyes, just to make em say they were a part of the vietcong,, i rather have my coock in my moth then see some one in my familly get executed.

  • @93Death1 So, America is the only country that commits these kind of crimes correct? That is what you are saying, right? EVERY nation has committed atrocities against their fellow man. America does not have that market cornered. Please look at what is going on in the Congo or even Somalia, The world is full of evil my friend. I do not condone it nor do I single out any one nation to blame. Play humanitarian if you like, but please don't paint a partial picture as to what goes on in the world.

  • @raz3rburnify I agree with Raz3r. Lets play machiavelli and weigh the costs and benefits. Yes, the atomic bomb was a horrible tragedy, but it saved over a million potential casualties if the island of Japan was invaded. Yes, Americans have committed crimes as part of some wars, but over all this country has given freedom to millions, and even more importantly INSPIRED people to create their own revolutions where they are oppressed. A few bad individuals hardly sour the morals of this country...

  • @93Death1 you are an idiot, point to one thing that has happened at gitmo that even COMPARES to those fuckin ragheads sawing off the heads of americans, jews, and thier fellow muslims. there would not be a modern world without the US. and that ass-ange is a piece of shit who has literally caused the deaths of my countrymen. fuck u and ur butt budy ass-ange and quit blaming the US for YOUR stupidity

  • @Blavits

hell the inmates of gitmo are getting better treatment, food and healthcare than we as citizens are.

europeans just want to shift attention from their tradition of gulags and concentration camps

  • @USMCM249gunner thank you! It comes as a result of being the GREATEST nation on earth, we get put under a microscope and are the butt end of all sorts of BS conspiracies. they openly deny history, and its total shit

  • @crazyguy47 ya i know those fuckers used to hammer splinters under american soldiers fingernails!!!

  • @crazyguy47 you do realise that we did also kill 40,000innocent civilians within a second, right? that, and withheld native japanese-americans in internment camps because of racism. we didnt hold a single german american. but that doesnt mean what they did to pow's and civilians in the capital of china. either way, this war had a whole lot of unnecessary deaths

  • @crazyguy47 you sir, are no better than them.

are you aware that over 10,000 vietnamese civilians were shot and killed by UNITED STATES SOLDIERS?

it was Japanese culture never to surrender. and they didnt.

  • @crazyguy47 they just did what americans deserved...

  • @crazyguy47 yeah that sounds like a typical thing an ignorant yank like you would say, grow the fuck up mate

  • @crazyguy47 Would it be wrong to attack another countries view on war??? Besides americans did abuse there pows too, its just that americans believed to help enemies, while the japanese belived you should die for your country. Those they put the pows they captured into humiliation for the fact that they where captured, not to mention they reverted back to the days of the samurai and feudel japan where they really didnt mind about this stuff they just fought an enemy that did.

  • @crazyguy47 what we do to POWs is worse lol

  • Comment removed

  • If you think that then you are a little child! The Japanese def. did horrible things but so did every country in ww2 (Russia, Germany, America/allies in general) maybe not all as bad but plz dont say that its good that all those people died cause thats just plain stupid. Why did the allies in ww2 bomb dresden? Why did they drop the atomic bomb on japanese civi's? The atomic bomb made a end to the war thats the only thing good about it (but what did those Japanese civi's do wrong?

  • @nighthaak They lived in the wrong place, supported the wrong government who made a huge mistake bombing the US. Their culture displayed and ability to fight to the death that directly played a part in the decision to use the atom bomb. Americans did not want to capture Berlin and they didnt want to invade Japan. America didnt want to pay the price for these things. Japanese people participated in the the culture, raised thier children in it, and educated them in it...bushido and shintoism...

  • @nighthaak also..remember the main difference between america and the axis powers was America didnt have a large standing army when the war started. America didnt spend the 30s preparing for war like Japan, Germany, and Italy. Japan started preparing for war with the US long before Pearly Harbor. What do you think about how America helped rebuild Japan and Germany? Look at them today...you people forget about the horrible crimes committed by Japan well before the democracies fought them

  • @crazyguy47 Also: Karma is a bitch? You may be correct with that statement but look at it this way

Yes Karma is a bitch but most of the time its a bitch for the wrong persons! -_-

    +

Lets say that you are from America a huge storm hits your state and that thousands will die. Then ill say just as childish as you; "Ahwell america. Karma is a bitch (for all that you did in Iraq, Afg., ...") -_-

btw i love America (just to make a point)

    Would you like it?

    No you wouldnt!

  • @crazyguy47 That's just cruel and unfair of you. Most of the people in Iwo Jima were just soldiers who had no choice but to go to war. And, like any other good soldier they followed the orders of their commander or they would face death for treatory.

  • @crazyguy47 if you believe in Karma then someone is going to be cheering "Karma's a bithch" when you die lol

  • @crazyguy47 In War my Friend, there is no good side, okay I completely agree that the Japs were some dickheads, but the American troops weren't all that well and good to not all their prisoners, but some. Wiki Leaks FTW

  • @crazyguy47 The first error you make is underestimating your enemy. The second is not respecting their capabilities.

  • @EnyavduM Well put, and I think both sides did just that. Although General K--------- the Iwo commander knew he'd never come out alive, both sides thought they'd eventually prevail. Pretty much the same scenario as Tarawa.

  • Watch flags of our fathers POV of the Americans and Letters of Iwo Jima POV of the Japanese. Makes you think different about the Japanese. And Clint Eastwood made both movies so its sure to be good,

  • this was probably one of the most horrific battles of the entire war... RIP to those who died, especially the Americans who faced torture at the hands of the Japanese.

  • @NorthernBoy2010 Okinawa was worse. then again all pacific battles where terrible and horrific

  • @NorthernBoy2010 are you kidding, japanese didnt take many prisoners...

  • We are all capable of cruelty, rudeness, love, compassion and kindness. No one race is better than another, we are just brought up with different education and exposure to different experiences.

  • Comment removed

  • The comments on this film and other war films by young people is so sad when you read of the racism we as new generations have in 2011. Can't we learn something from all of the many different people that have died over the centuries, of any nationality? We really are a destructive and hateful race. We are all human, we are no different from one another.

  • Racism and hate will only move us further backward. Every culture has it's differences and things we will not understand no matter how hard we try. But we MUST learn to live in peace with each other, otherwise what is the point of being here on this earth and existing? We cannot be selfish and continue to fight over these stupid differences and lack of understanding.

  • During WW2 they were trained and bainwashed by the imperial army. Modern Japan know the mistakes they made in WW2. Every Japanese person I have spoken to believes Hiroshima and Nagasaki were devastating but believe it was necessary to stop Japan, as at that time they would have never stopped without such force.

  • The world will never change or grow to a higher level of thinking and way of life if people remain to be so narrow-minded and racist. War is a terrible and horrific thing where all common sense is lost. Nobody knows how they would react in their situation. No side was right. They were only doing what they believed was right for their country AT THAT TIME.

Anybody who has visited Japan or who has learnt anything from a Japanese native knows that their culture is extremely strict.

  • every war as crimes' you see a friend shot besides you then catch a pow who is the enemy do you say ! hi good thing you dropped you weapon and flew a white other wise i would have to shoot ' or invite him to your country for a bowl of your mums finest beef soup and hot rolls, NO your going test you new flame thrower to see if it cooks people faster then the cheap toaster you bought auntie joan for xmas past is what you will do asyour buddy would expect you to do for his memory,

  • The japs started the war with america. So they deserve every last thing they got. They were brutal and had no care for the enemy. They wrote a check thier ass couldnt cash. They f%&$#d with the wrong bank. So you the guy saying they were brave need to think about it. Cause whats so brave about sneaking up on some one an a nice sunday morning

  • better music?

  • Hideous...Hideous is starving thousands of American pow's in factories that AMERICA helps finance today. Mitsubichi, nippon steel,Kawasaki just a few.you turkey...and the Japs were not expected to die until they killed 10 marines!!!by the way.Slithering cowards hiding in caves, the Americans took Iwo anyway. What really bugs me is on the last night on Iwo all the boys were licking there wounds, sleeping in tent's, remaining japs made one last banzai w/swords killing the soldiers in their sleep..

  • @expectaM1A1 All sides did their war crimes you cannot just point at one side and say that they're bad when almost every country in World war two commited war crimes. People seem to forget that the Japanese were people to, Possibly even some of the Bravest soldiers in the whole war, People only see the Japanese soldiers when they are fighting or Doing Charges but they don't see the shell shocked side where they are crying or praying that they themselves can go home to see their loved ones

  • @varocks183 and you did?

  • A lot of these scenes were obviously filmed on other locations than Iwo Jima, which was a rocky island covered in volcanic ash. There were 23 thousand Japs on Iwo dug into a complex system of underground bunkers. Their commanding general told them all to expect to die. All but about 200 of them did. One of our most effective weapons was the flame thrower. Huge jets of flame were sent into the caves to burn out the Japs and to suck out the oxygen so they'd suffocate. It was a hideous battle.

  • @jdggearhead realy! they went easy on japan XD

so nuking 2 of the most populatid citys that had no militairi present at all is going easy on a country XD

olso again you proof to be a idiot with a us tv education for making me say for the 3e or 4e time iam not from japan bud from the netherlands (to make sure if your imbred brain dont know dutch ppl are with skined with blond hair and blue eyes)

now go back to your imbred mom and shut the fuck up

i have no point talking to you any more

  • @jdggearhead the germans didnot treat the Soviets better than the Soviet government...that is just wrong..the germans starved nearly 4 million soviets to death. Also the vast majority of holocaust victims didnt come from western europe but mostly from soviet lands..what you say is just wrong

  • @jdggearhead the Nazis starved nearly four million russians to death...what are you talking about...starvation was a key to both the germans and the soviets in dealing with enemies...I think that none of the above can be considered more brutal than the other

  • @billybobrustupid We should starve the yanks because they're all fat fuckers.

  • @truckerfromreno better bring some friends to help you big boy

  • @billybobrustupid Yep, starve the Yanks, such garbolish, what a knucklehead. Had it not been for Lend Lease and the convoys during the early years of WW 2 somebody would had not only starved but would have been speaking German, and it Damned sure wouldn't have been the Yanks. Never fails, a nation falls on it's ass, the US comes to the rescue, that when that nation is back on it's feet it's "Go the Hell US, Yankee go home". Let them stew in their own juices next time, to Hell with all of them.

  • @truckerfromreno A friend who has lived in the UK said most Brit men are pot-bellied and have bad teeth, and the women are among the homliest on the planet.

  • @8301968 Now your stooping to his level, no need to insult the English just insult that one dumbass that wants to "starve the yanks"

  • @RazorCell7 They've never had a problem insulting us. As far as stooping to his level, he/she/it started it.

  • @billybobrustupid Hell Stalin starved 7 million Ukrainians in a single year, 1933, and over 20 million during the 1930s.

  • @8301968 no doubt....starvation was a tool of the Nazis and a tool of the master cass soviets...when numbers of dead reach these proportions one cannot be ignored over the other and one cannot be found to more unjust or less unjust bc it killed a few million more or a few million less..the german intent would have killed as many if not more than Stalin and his Soviets..however they were forced out..had Stalin lived longer he would have raised his tally of Jews

  • @billybobrustupid Not only Jews. His quote about all the Ukrainians who starved pretty well expressed his feelings. "One shoud not expiate on the demise of the Krulaks, one does not lament on the loss of the hair of one who has been beheaded". Obviously Hitler didn't kill as many Germans as Stalin killed Russians. Stalin's purge of the late 1930s nearly wrecked the Russian Military General Staff, executed it's best commander, Mikhail Tukhachavsky whose popularity he feared.

  • WW2 USMC ! The badest of the bad!

  • @jdggearhead dude your coverment dont even deny this they call it history that cant be chansed so go live in your own little world lozer

  • @reemstrrr why the fuck would they deny it? it's truth and a fact what is it you want to see them deny?

  • @mrsuperterd me?? the guy says iam lying i said hees a idiot becase the coverment dont deny it bud still he says its not true so dont know what you mean

  • @reemstrrr haha yea diden't see it was a reply my bad should have read down farther you tell him

  • @mrsuperterd :P

  • @jdggearhead instead of quickly dieing from decapitation, the nazis made people in the concentration camps suffer for many years before death...and yes there was rape and god knows what else. but to say that the japanese were by far the worse is ignorant and disrespectful. you have presented facts of comparable brutality in regards to the polish. Im not denying japanese brutality, but there have been brutalities of comparable significance.

  • @jdggearhead you said the the soviets killed polish resulting in the highest number of deaths percentage wise. brutality which can compare to the japanese and possibly be considered an extreme. now saying that the japanese are by far the worse is clearly an overstatemant. you have presented the facts yourself of soviet brutality.

  • @jdggearhead so there you have it. it's possible that maybe the soviets can be compared to the brutalities of the germans and japanese. you acknowledge the fact that the soviets killed many polish and even compared it to nanking...so saying the japanses were "by far the worse" seems a bit of an overstatement now doesn't it?

  • @jdggearhead China lost 7mil to 16mil according to your wiki. saying at least 16mil is an inaccurate claim. if you'er going to use "facts" like that your credibility is nil. furthermore, look at "deaths as % of 1939 population" and compare ussr to china. why is it so hard for you to accept that both fronts were brutal?

  • I did not once ignore what the japanese did. do you know how many russians the germans killed? a lot more then 23 million. do you know how they treated the eastern POWs? endless fact can be thrown around regarding this subject, but to lable one side as "far worse" is ignorant and disrespectful. I also question where you get your "facts" from. there was rape by the germans which you deny.

  • @jdggearhead no, the germans just had these these camps were millions of people and POWs were sent. in these camps people were gased, starved, burned alive, froze to death, worked to death,... but apparently the japanese "where far worse". they were both burtal in thier own ways, but to say that one is far worse then the other is an ignorant statemant to make.

  • @jdggearhead They were brutal, but worse by far is an overstatement

  • Man, at 6:24, the site of that little boy just kills you. What did he ever do, but just be born.? Sometimes people bring war unto themselves like Japan did, but scenes like that one just kill your heart. God bless those men, both American and Japanese that got caught up in the whole mess.

  • @reemstrrr Actually, it's just as much America's fault as it is Japan's. The Japanese were running out of resources so they started the Japanese-Sino war to get parts of China. By the time they attacked America, America had cut off nearly all trade to them effectively giving them about 3 months to either find new resources, or fight their way to them. By bombing Pearl Harbor, the Japanese could take over all the American Pacific oil depots and resource centres without needing to care about theUS

  • @reemstrrr Well, in a sense. Germany was the people fault as they got the Nazis elected ect. Japan, not so much. I agree that people are dicks about war. Especially the uninformed. For example:

Person A: Why don't we make a special missile to kill the terrorists?

    Me: *Slaps face*

Conscription was everywhere during both World Wars.

PS. Don't take this rudely, but could you use grammar and punctuation?
