The reason why Honda donated these 40 vehicles was because they have to pull 1 vehicle out of every 200 off the line for quality control. IE, not to be taken off the lot, or to be given to college kids, After their quality control is done they have to be destroyed. we were the lucky ones who got to do the destroying that day.
@tfd1232 I am a FF from north ala, I was also in Lincoin doing this training as well, we was the ones where amacous took the tools away from us, we had the van in about 300 pieces,
why are the destroying hondas quality cars. the cars werent even wreck they should of at least give the cars to families who needs a car and they were practically new minivans and suv. (I WOULD UNDERSTAND IF THEY DESTROYED CHRYSLERS GARBAGE!!!) this video makes me mad destroying unwrecked hondas that works
You wonder why car companies can make so much money but be so broke... what a complete waste, they could've used 20 junkyard or barely used cars if they need to show how to open a modern car(air bags everywhere).
WTF>!
Give them to college kids or people that need em.
Sell one of those and buy 20 used vans to cut apart
Neat. Development mules aren't something you can release to the public (for all sorts of various good reasons - many of them are hand-assembled, and often improperly. Components are sometimes missing, wiring harnesses have often been modified so external controllers/monitors can be attached, they've been through heating/cooling chambers, and have not been federally certified), so this is a better use for them than simply crushing them.
This is a good example of flexing corporate/financial muscle and great PR. Since all those shit drivers are out there ruining Toyota's reputation, now is a good time to jump on opening market share as long as people don't remember the airbag recall. How about Honda going city to city with a track day with a group of Si's and giving some general lessons? Too many Si's and not enough people buying them.
I would like to see the fire boys put alittle hussle in to it as if someone was inside...before the next demo session how about I trade you my older civic for a van.....sweet
I wish Honda would replace the PAX System tires in my minivan, I haaaaate it ! I spend thousands of dollars on tires. They don't last and are very expensive. When I bought the car they never told me that I have to buy ONLY PAX tires from Michelin. I spent about $1,300.00 every 30,000 miles on these tires !!
Please Honda, remove the PAX System from my minivan.
they should do this to all honda's

@rockotto727 honda sells regular rims and tires for your your odyssey touring model
dvela85 1 year ago
@rockotto727 they already removed PAX from the odyssey. You can actually use MDX rims as an replacement.
enekaken 1 year ago 2
@rockotto727 you could always go aftermarket tires. Some basic enkies with toyos or bfgoodrich.
