For example: Dubstyle, Drumstep, Glitch Hop, Moombahcore, etc) is more like influenced by House, EDM, DnB, Glitch, Hip Hop, Moombahton and most importantly, old Dubstep. If it's not influenced by old Dubstep, they wouldn't be crazy with basses, since old Dubstep is more focused on sub bass.

In either case the point is that Dubstep is just a derivative form of Dub, which is slow music with sub bass meant to be felt in your body when just hanging out with a few friends at a small club. When you take away the feel of what a genre is supposed to be, it isn't the same genre anymore.

Early UK Hardcore became Breakbeat then Jungle then Drum n bass. It evolves. If it evolves in a way you dislike you simply leave it alone. As you can tell by my channel I'm still well into my early drum n bass the newer stuff sounds too over produced so Ieave it alone but i wouldnt hate. If you prefer genesis dubstep simply stick to it.
