Those were the days when every film contained a lesson for aam janta but not in a preaching way, rather in a more subtle way. Magical tune of SD Burman. SD gave a complete new dimension to Rafi Saab's voice. The other two greats S-J and Naushad used Rafi most of the time in high pitch. But SD used him in a very low pitch and simple but melodious way. People generally associate SD with Kishore Da. But most of SD's best tunes were composed on Rafi Saab's voice. From Pyassa to Guide. There can be no doubt that, along with S-J SD Burman was the best music composer Bollywood ever produced.
s.d always preferred rafi and r.d preferred kishore.. the best example to notice this is aradhna as we all know during the making of aaradhana s.d was sick so rest of the music was completed by r.d and hence half hits are s.d style like gunguna rahe he bhawre and some r.d. style like kora kagaz and roop tera
you are right aamir.....SD music is amazing and Rafi voice is like a painkiller and handsome Dev....real combination of success and that made these songs forever and eternal.

s.d. not used voice of kishor to dev in this film. however all songs were hit. so sweet of s.d.
