he's right about this exercise hitting all 3 heads of the deltoid, and the fact it's a very good mass builder. but all you lot saying 'oh no i wont do that i'll get injured' etc etc. don't try be a meathead and shift weight you can't lift with perfect form, Kevin's form was good and safe in this video and plus he had a spot, and he's on the smith machine, so you'll probably get more of an injury doing heavy dumbbell shoulder press or military press than doing this

I`d rather use a lat pull down machine and exercise my rear delts that way. I find it`s easier for my shoulders to absorb.
I like the Smith Machine by doing this in the front and sometimes strip sets work wonders for growth.
I also find pull ups, reverse shrugs and using an inclince bench with DB`s work wonders for rear delts.
