I love my 360 and all. But god damn! It is a embarrasment to Microsoft. No console should have that high of a failure rate! I guess it would be sort of understandable for the 05- mid 06 Xbox 360 consoles to fail, because they had to rush it. The ps3 has a slight really not noticeable advantage in graphics in certain gamess. but the 360 has vastly superior onlne and way better exclusive games and that is 80% of what makes the console. Now im not going to lie i generally only play shooters and sports and those games are developed on the 360 then released on other systems making them better in every way on the 360 including graphically.

@WoWpigey so far a month later they are having power supply issues and the disk drive is still scratching disks without you touching it. I wish they fixed these issues and put in as apple calls it a "superdrive" and stopped rushing things. I have to admit it is a fantastic console but i like my ps3 better just because of what it could do.

I remember when this video FIRST came out. I didn't have lots of knowledge of today's video game consoles. Before everything came out in '05-'06 people thought the PS3 was gonna be the best console in the history of forever due to its reputaion with the PS 1 and PS 2. The Xbox 360 like meh, and the Wii also being super amazing, but today PS3 isn't as great as previously thought.

They said that the Xbox 360 has a extra "10 year" life span do to Project Natal. So that's 2005 - 2015? We already know that the Xbox 360 will not be discontinued 2010 or 2011 because there are a lot of games as of right now that are being developed for the 360 set to release in Late 2010 - 2011. Some examples are Fable III and Skate 3.

The only problem I have with this video is the red ring of death, although called a ring it's only 3 lights. if you have 4 red lights a cable is loose. one red light is worse that means your mother board has melted or about too at least E74, friend of mine had it twice

the ps3 has eight cores asymmetrical with one core disabled so that leaves six cores for gaming and one core for the o.s and security it has a video card with separate vertex shaders by nvidia. the 360 has three symmetrical cores which is easier to program it has free antialaising 2x a ati graphics card with unified shaders which in my opinion is better then individual sharers. the ps3 has potential to be more powerful then the 360 but there are alot of lazy programmers

The others were good but the problem I have with this video is that you are INCREDIBLY bias towards the ps3, the ps3 has half the ram of the 360, and the cell has 7 mini processors whilst the 360 has 3 full cores, which means on the whole the 360 is capable of more complex tasks, however the ps3 has better HD capabilites with blu ray and HDMI although new premium sets now come with HDMI as well, and potentially better graphics with the nvidia core, but stll they even out to be about the same. xx

The Cell engine is 7 full processors with one entirely reserved for the main processor itself. You don't know what you're talking about.
