I find it interesting that to make the point that "the problem with interest is that if too much is charged there is an excessive profitability that cannot be paid by borrowers”. This is exactly what Marx was warning about when he did his work on fictional values. A debt is fictional until it is paid back making it a real value. This fictional value can only be realized by the creation of real values in the form of commodity production.
